we're holding steady at 94 guests, but that's not accounting for FI's family, who aren't computer literate (we're doing online RSVP's to save on postage).
Isn't it exciting when a new one comes in?! It's like Christmas to me! Hope you get your next 87 soon!
All of ours are online, our wedding site sends me an email each RSVP, so it's always exciting to see who is coming (and in those 10 cases, who's not!)
wow you're ahead of the game :P (Iam assuming you need final head count for vendors?)
I'm not sending my invites for another handful of weeks, now I feel like the huge procrastinator I am lol.
Not for vendors, I'm just crazy :p
We took them to FI's home province/home town over Christmas, then slowly got the rest out here in Ontario, and mailed some going to the US, and further than we could hand deliver.
I still have like 6 to get out!
My work asks for my vacation time to be in March 1st -and other employers may do the same, with so many coming from out of town we figured advanced notice wouldn't be a bad thing and it turns out we've gotten really positive feedback and a great # of rsvp's so far, whatevs I suppose!
Caterer asks for headcount 2 weeks out, and that's it!

We're sending ours out in about a month. I can't wait! I just started printing labels and assembling..by the time they're done and stamped, it'll be mid-April, and we'll be ready to go! (I'm a student so I only can get a few done a week lol)

I just finished designing ours & will be printing and assmebling over the rest of the month. It is really just occurring to me that it is time to get my 'game face' on :P
I'm going to send mine out in May. I think it will take me that long to get the wording figured out and track down the addresses for everyone. lol
How exciting to hear back. Were the 10 that said no expected?
We sent ours out a couple weeks ago, but the RSVP deadline isn't until April 18. So far, we've heard from about 25 people, and all but one are coming! It's exciting, and we can't wait to party with everyone, but we were expecting the usual attrition rates, so it's making me a teensy bit nervous. I guess we'll see how the next month goes.
The 10:
2 from Nova Scotia are in a wedding party that same weekend in Newfoundland (FI's side)
2 that can't come, the wife (they're in Nova Scotia too) is 18th on the list at work for time off in July (FI's side)
2 have a trip planned to Ontario two weeks after for a tennis tournament and can't do that much time off/two trips (FI's side)
2 An Uncle and guest I haven't seen in.....12-15 + years. He's now in North Carolina and hardly comes up here to see his daughter, so wasn't surprised he can't make the wedding (My side)
2 A cousin and her partner are currently trying to buy a house in Florida and that week/weekend is a planned time down there with their agent to find a place. (My side
So not expected....but well justified I suppose!
Tracking down addresses was such a chore, FI's brother will be engaged soon and I am so handing over my spreadsheet as soon as they're engaged for their side. I started collecting in the Fall, prioritized FI's fam as we wanted to take home invites at Christmas, then in January picked away at who I didn't have on my side and friends from around here. Got it done, which was a big relief! I need to purchase a nice address book and write them all in there, old school!
Oh my goodness! You're doing so great, RingPup! We just met up with our invite designers today (three of our students) with the aim of finalising the look in the next two weeks. I seem a bit behind!
Thanks for the reminder, too, about rounding up addresses... pesky things!

Aah, you sent out invitations already?! I am so behind in this! We just sent out STDs and haven't even ordered invitations yet. Will probably order them in April so it gives my mom's friend enough time to address everything. Then will send out the invitations sometime in May. I'm excited to see who will be coming!!! Congrats on the 100 girl :)

At 106 as of this afternoon! It's so fun seeing them trickle in (well....the email notifications from the site, lol). Once it gets down to an appropriate time to hassle people about rsvp'ing in a couple months I wonder who my stragglers will be!
I sent mine out also!!!! about 3 weeks ago. I check the site (doing online RSVP's also) multiple times a day to see if there's anyone new!! Not quite hit the 100 mark yet, still have a ways to go yet :)
Wow! I am not sending mine out until mid-May and giving folks about 6 weeks to respond. We did however send out Save the Dates in January so folks already have most of the information about the big day and hopefully marked their calendars!

Wow, they are out already? Mine aren't even fifnished1 I should get cracking though, I would love to send the overseas invites out next week. Probably won't happen, but it is something to aim for. I definitely need to have them all out by April 17th at the latest.
