Can you believe we only have 2 months left?! 2 months! This is all coming so fast. Although we have so much done, there’s still so much left to do! How is everyone coming along? What do you have left to do?

I’m getting married 10/10/10!
I have quite a bit left to do. We’re sending out invitations next week. So this weekend we will be assembling everything. I know this is later than lots of 10-10-10 brides, but 6-8 weeks is fine with me. I still have to get my shoes and boustier by my fitting on August 27th! I also need to set up my hair trial, start looking into all of the fun paperwork, buy table numbers (once I know how many tables there will be!), attend our tasting on the 19th and make our menu selections, buy our guest book and ring bearer pillow, book our hotel room, rehearsal dinner and so much more. Oh my goodness, and finally book the honeymoon…which isn’t til December. I’m pretty much convinced I won’t be finished til the moment we’re married.

There’s not much I have left to do besides pay the bills that are due soon 🙂
FI and I both have to get our fittings done. I had my first one last week, and have my second one in two weeks. He has to go soon to get his tux fitted. We have to buy the groomsmen gifts and officiant gift. And then in the final few weeks print the escort cards, menus and programs.
It’s all fun stuff at this point. I’m happy we finished things early so we could enjoy the last few months before the wedding.

I keep thinking I’m getting closer to being done and then bam! I remember four other things I need to do 🙂 I can’t even begin to list them all, which sounds scary. And is scary.
It’s all in my head… somewhere.
However, I did JUST get home from mailing my invites so woo-hoo! And you’re right on time in my book, Leatherbean! 😀

OMG! I know… I have so much left to do still 🙁
I am mailing my DIY invites on 8/22 and still have to calligraphy the envelopes..
I am still making my manzanita crystal branch centerpieces
My dress is in for cleaning now, and I still have to dye my crinoline.
I have to meet with my officient, and musician… ugh!
I know there is a lot lot lot more, but I am going to focus on these things for now!!!
No matter what happens I am sure that all of our 10-10-10’s will be amazing!

I have to get my invites done today (complete registiries and webpaget) and mail them out on Monday hopefully, we need to meet with our officiant. I have my dress fitting the 30th and cake tasting next weekend maybe. I also have to get my trial hair and makeup done and pay on all the different things we haven’t finished paying on. I keep thinking of things too and it is starting to get a lil stressful. My moh and I are going to get her dress today, and my fiance has to get his tux and son’s tux situated too soon.

We JUST (like 2 hours ago) sent our invites out!! Aaahhh, I am SO excited & relieved that it’s one more thing out of the way.
Next on the list are the manzanita centerpieces. We have to spray paint them all & figure out how we’re going to get them to stay upright in the vases. I have a feeling this is not going to be a fun project…ggrr.

Yay for 10.10.10! We have lots of little stuff left…. painting lanterns for centrepieces, making table numbers and things like that. But I feel like all of the big things are done and it’s all little DIY bits and meetings with our church and DOC!

- Wedding: October 2010 - The Pearl S. Buck House
invites out, making veil and garter this week because it’s fun, bach party this weekend, escort cards, not vomiting out of nerves and overwhemedness, dress fitting Tues. other… things… i can’t think of! It’s feeling like a lot of stuff can’t happen now until all the RSVPs are in and then all hell will break loose. Anyone else?

Invites went out first week of August (reply date is Sept 1st….I honestly don’t remember why.) Playing with Martha Stewart Weddings’ seating app.
Still need to finish with my dress fittings (2nd one was last night)…I am midgety and my dress can’t be traditionally hemmed!!! The seamstress had to cut off the bottom embroidery and is going to have to creatively sew it back on, minus 2 inches of dress. Oy. FH already has his tux but needs to have the pants taken in (woohoo for him!).
Working on reception songs.
Menu tasting is 8/31.
Need to confirm with florist & baker; need to book final hair/makeup trial (the girls work for the same company and are BFF so they will work together on this); need to come up with list of posed photos; need to make programs!!!

One of my biggest projects right now are wedding programs. I have a basic outline of what to do, but it’s still kind of difficult.
Thanks to my mom & her planning & budgeting most everything is payed off & ready to go. We secured The Margarita Man this morning. I just sent back my too big shoes for a smaller size, as well as pouches that were too small for our wedding bells (bells people will jingle to help us “ring in” our vows). My dress is all ready to go & I need no more fittings…just need it to be dry cleaned.
We will be working on our wedding centerpieces, finishing programs, working on DJ play list & seating. Whew! I’m trying not to stress, but it’s going by SO quick!
