So, since my date is set for 10/10/10, thats thanksgiving here in Canada.
and since we are both Italian, we came up with a menu that will please everyone, or at least we’re hoping. It goes a little something like this…
When you walk in there will be a deluxe antipasto buffet bar set up in the middle of the reception hall, that include all your grilled vegetables, shrimp, mussels, cheese, salads, deli meants, all thegreat little appetizers.
After that you will be served pene in a red tomatoe sauce along with asparagus risotto.
The main entree will be roast turkey, stuffing, potatoes, yams, mixed vegetables, gravey and cranberry sauce with assorted rolls.
after the main entree there will be a platter of seafood set on every table. That includes king crab legs, scallops, tiger shrimp, mussels, sole, etc with a bowl of garden balsamic salad (us italians like our salad after our meals!lol)
A dessert will be served following that, which is yet to be chosen, but will most likely be something with apples or possibly pumpkin spiced torte to keep with the season with espresso, coffee or tea.
Once all that is said and done there will be a deluxe sweettable with italian pastries, cakes, fresh tropical fruit, and a mini chocolate fountain.
and just to top it off italian style, we will be having a porchetta station, comes with freshly bakes rolls and imported beer
along with all of this there will be open deluxe bar all night.
