- Wedding: October 2013
Well we finally tied the knot!! The forecast up until the day of was 70% chance of storms, and we woke up the morning of to very intense rain and lightning. The entire county was under flash flood watch and the ceremony was outside so I was pretty upset. It was a Sunday wedding so we had to set up that morning since there was a wedding there the night before. By a stroke of AMAZING luck, the other wedding had left up all their fabric and lights in the reception pavillion, and they had left up a BEAUTIFUL archway on the ceremony platform. I had literally brought lights and tulle to create the same look, and the archway had my wedding colors, flowers, and burlap on it in the exact style I wanted. I couldn’t have imagined anything more perfect. It only made me more determined to have the ceremony outside to use that beautiful archway! (which was obviously meant for us) My husband was amazing through it all and set up an alternate archway indoors but we didn’t even end up needing it. It was sprinkling but lightly enough for us to have my dream ceremony outside. 🙂 I’ll post the professional pics once they come in, but here’s our guest pics recap. It was a perfect day that went by so fast. We had a blast! Thank you to all the Bees who helped me, I couldn’t have done it without this site!!!
