So after the success of the 10/10 club, I think we need a 10/20 club.

I am on CD30, 8dpo and would like to wait until 10/20 to test, at which point I will be 14dpo....But man is it hard!!!  I'm tempted to POAS this Sunday @ 10 dpo.  Please discourage me!

Who wants to joing the 10/20 club?  What CD and how many DPO are you?

    Lots of luck ladies!!!

When I got pregnant (before my MC), I took a test at 10 DPO, and it was negative. Took another one at 11 DPO and it was negative. And then 12 DPO, BAM, positive!!

So I would wait until 12 DPO... rather than wasting tests.

Also, the line that says "99% accurate up to 5 days before your missed period" is very misleading. What they mean by that, is that it will produce the same result as a professional doctor's test up to 5 days before your period. But even a doctor's test has very limited success so early. So if a doctor's test has a 50% chance of showing you are pregnant, then the home test will have a 99% chance of matching the doctor's results. So it's very misleading, and negatives are VERY common so early on after ovulation!

I will say good luck.  I'm in more of a 10/25 club myself...  I agree with not POAS early.  Wait it out!

I got a postitive with a FRER on 10, but started my period still on 14.  If it feels the same way this time I honestly don't know what I'll do (test or not).  But if it's feels like every other month (i.e. no mid-wait cramping) I will wait...

I'll join you! i'm also more of a 10/25 club member, seeing as I'm only 4 DPO (CD 24), but what's interesting to me this time is my complete lack of any symptoms. Usually by 4 DPO there's a whole host of things that I'm over-analyzing...this month, nothing.

@chastenet - are you TTC baby #1? How long have you been trying?

@redsmarties: Yup, Baby #1.  This is cycle 4, we had a m/c after a bfp on the 2nd cycle, this is the 2nd cycle since.  You'll be at 10 dpo by 10/20, definitely far enough to be a member of the club =)

@HopingToBeaMama:  Thanks!  I know it's better to wait, that's part of the reason I'm hoping to get other ladies to wait with me so we can be strong together.  When I got my bfp, I'm pretty sure I was 12dpo, so I would like to wait till 14 dpo to make sure this time.

    @mrskesslertobe: Thanks!

@Mrs Green Grass:  I'm definitely going to try very hard to wait!

@chastenet - We're on cycle 9, TTC #1 as well. Tried to take this month 'off' of charting, because of stress and family stuff, but I can't seem to leave it completely alone. So while my Fertility Friend account is lonely, the Babies boards over here are getting a lot of visits. So sorry about your m/c - my good friend just m/c-ed on Tuesday and my heart just breaks.

@redsmarties: I find it impossible to be TTC and relaxed about the whole thing...I totally understand that you've replaced FF visit with WB visits!  I'm making way too many visits to both to be honest :)  Yes, m/c is a very difficult thing to go through, but over time it gets better.  There are still moment when it kind of comes back to haunt me, but I'm mostly trying to focus on TTC, again.

I'd love to join you, but I'm more like a 10/17 club.  I did break and take one this morning, which was an obvious BFN.  Oh well, just a few more days.....

So 10/20ish ladies, how many DPO are you currently and what are your symptoms?

I'm 6 DPO and having creamy CM, enhanced sense of smell and weird dreams.

@bunny: 8 dpo, creamy CM, I'm gassy, super tired and have minor cramping. Yesterday I felt a little nauseous after each meal, but not today.

I'm 3dpo, also creamy cm.  Major legs and back fatigue which is weird for me.  I'm a soccer player and haven't played since Monday...so I wouldn't think it's from that.  But I also know that it's way to early to really have symptoms....whatevs.

I'm 6 DPO, with creamy CM, ridiculous fatigue and absolutely no other symptoms. Usually by now I've got sore boobs, I'm nauseous, I'm cramping, and my face is a super break-out mess. So something's a little different this cycle, anyhow.

I tested this morning, and BFN.  Boo!  AF is due today and still no sign.  I've really felt naseaus the past 2-3 days and on Friday had a little brown spotting, which is not normal for my cycle.  Friday was 12 dpo so it could possibly be implantation bleeding so I was hopeful for today.  *sigh*.  I am going to try and hold off for a couple of days and if AF doesn't show up by Tuesday morning, I'll test again.

@chrispygal - You can do it! I always hate waiting to test again, but 12 DPO is still kind of on the fence...might be too early! Fingers crossed that AF stays away.

I haven't been diligently charting this month, so I'm only assuming that I'm 6/7 DPO (based on symptoms, usual cycle length etc). Its killing me not to just POAS right now, just in case...but I'm determined to wait until 10/20 with you girls.

8 DPO, cramping and very tired today. I got to go over to a friend's house and hold her 4 month old today. Made me remember why I want this so badly! If these symptoms keep up, I'm going to have a tough time waiting until Thursday to test!

Good Luck! I am 9-10DPO and planning to test if AF does not show up in next 2-3 days. No symptoms so far other than some mild spotting.

Thanks for letting me gatecrash, ladies. I've been googling all sorts of websites to see if testing after late periods is pointless or worth it - so far, some people say YES - positives sometimes don't show for weeks after a missed period, and some people say NO - if it's negative, it's negative.

2 days to go until I find out!

Yay, I'm excited there are so many of you with me, (kind of) waiting for Thursday!!!  I am willing myself not to test before then..I don't have any tests at home so that helps, and DH won't be home till Weds night so I want to do it when he's here.

Anyway, 11 dpo, temps have been pretty high, there was kind of a slow rise and then a dip at 9 dpo that could have been an implantation dip?  Basically it's a waiting game every day to see what my temps will be like the next morning and if AF comes...  I have creamy cm, cp is high and soft/medium, I'm super tired, have had cramping a tiny bit of nausea and this morning my boobs started to hurt...Thursday couldn't come soon enough!

Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind me lurking here a bit - I'm holding out so much hope for all of you!  I really think the 10/20 club is going to have some positive results and I can't wait to see it!

@redsmarties:  I was the exact same way - usually I have a host of symptoms that start the day after O, but this month, I had nothing....I mean absolutely none of my usual symptoms that kick in early.  I did notice a fair bit of creamy CM and I was rather tired (I didn't notice but it was pointed out to me by my sister who was visiting), but I didn't have my usual post-O cramps, followed by sore boobs, and massive bloating.  I think the sore boobs started around 10 or 11 DPO and the BFP came 15 DPO.  If I'm anything to go by, your signs sound very promising!

Good luck to all of you - can't wait to see some BFPs coming through in the next couple of days!  Smile

@Ree723 - ooh, that sounds promising! Now I'm going to obsess over my lack of symptoms, haha.

I'm usually a fairly patient person, but there's a whole whack of outside circumstances this month that are driving me crazy. We just found out two weeks ago that DH's father has Stage 4 cancer in his pancreas, liver, kidneys and spleen, and he's been given a very short time to live. The first thing FIL said to me when he got the diagnosis was "I want to live to meet my grandkids". He didn't know we were TTC, he was just expressing his sadness, but it made me want to cry. We're trying!! I felt like telling him.

So that renewed our TTC efforts...I'm seriously praying for this month, if only for FIL's sake. He won't live to meet him or her, but at least I can give FIL a little bit of hope, you know what I'm saying?

@redsmarties:  I'm sorry FIL is ill.  :(   Having a baby really is a "family" event so I do hope you are lucky this month and are able to share that news with him.

So today is 15 dpo and no sign of AF.  I've gone back and checked my cycles which I have been tracking for almost a year and I average 28 days, although I did have a couple of 30 day cycles a few months ago.  So I'm not out of the woods yet.  Plan is still to test tomorrow morning if no AF.

Oh, and @jaguar:  TWO DAYS!!!!  I'm so excited for you and this appointment!  Remember, you have a say in your treatment so push for what you want!!

@redsmarties:  I'm so sorry that you and DH and family are going through such a difficult situation with your FIL.  If I were you, I would tell him that I was trying...But of course that decision needs to be made by you and DH.  You're in my thoughts.

And since we've got a lot of ladies who are more 10/25...We'll have to extend our group!  Let's say that any BFN on 10/20 have to wait till 10/25 to retest if no AF!  :)

Any time I get the urge to test I use an OPK instead. If I don't get a dark LH line, I tell myself there's no way I'd get a positive pregnancy test yet. :)

@chrispygal: Technically, it doesn't work like that. You'll get a positive HPT before a positive OPK but if you did get a positive OPK, you could be reasonably sure of a positve HPT.
