posted 2 months ago in Beehive

Can anyone tell me an inexpensive place to buy the wavy wooden sticks that are used in program fans?

 Such as these:

100 for $15 http://www.kieferauctionsupply.com/browseproducts/100-Count-Bid-Paddle-Fan-Sticks.html

I'm checking out craft stores as well and will let you know if I see anything for less than that!

Have you thought of using paint sticks? You can probably paint them or do something to them to make them look nicer.

Home Depot gives them out for free.   Although I think it depends who's in the paint department. I'm not sure if they let you walk out with 100.  However, you can do a couple of trips! :)

Originally, my hubby and I thought of doing program fans and I still have about 50 paint sticks that are just sitting in my house.

If you want them, I can just send them to you...

@Little Bear: Thanks for the link!  The Online stores are pretty cheap...but usually the shipping makes them about 2 times more!  I'm doing price comparisons of the different sites I find to see what the cheapest I can get them for.

@Joanne: Thank you for the offer!  I think I'll check them out first to see if they'll work before I put you through the trouble.  But I appreciate it!

Joanne: GrEaT idea! I am going to check them out!

This is why I love weddingbee!
