tan lines

Anyone know how to get rid of tan lines?  I have some from a major burn I got a few months ago.  My wedding is not til May, so I have time to work on it, just don't know how to go about it.

When my best friend got married she had AWFUL farmer's tan- totally obvious in her strapless dress.

I made her an appointment at a salon that did air brush spray tans.  She went about 2 days before the wedding.

The woman worked wonders- there was no sign of the farmer's tan afterwards.

Perhaps the same could work for you?

My friend did her's right before the wedding with no trial- she was desperate (and a procrastinator).  If you have time, I would suggest giving it a try ahead of time (several weeks ahead) so if it doesn't work or you don't like the results, there is time for it to fade.

I think she paid $50 at a salon- she only did her face, neck, shoulders, upper back (ie only the areas that would show when she was in her dress).  A full body (if you want to be bathing suit ready for your honeymoon) would probably be more.

Good luck!

You still have some time but try some invigorating korean scrub (it's where they scrub you down so well, you see the dirt roll off you skin!)  A friend of mine who had fair skin had some terrible tan lines from a vacation, went to the scrub a month before wedding and she said it seems to have faded by a lot!

You're asking about how to get rid of tan lines that you have now?  I'd guess that in the 8 months till next May, they'd go away on their own, unless I'm missing something.  Just be careful till then, and wear sunblock =)

Ya I'm asking now...I don't wanna stress about it last minute.  It was a really bad burn, so they are dark lines..ie lots of contrast.  They aren't going anywhere without my help.  Maybe I'll try the Korean stuff.  Thank goodness we're headed into fall and winter (rainy season)...that means long sleeves most of the way up until the wedding.  :)

my wedding is in may too and i have a pretty noticable tan line from a bathing suit. but i agree with peihan...i dont think you have to worry about it. thats like 9 months away. im going to just go to the tanner a few times and it should go away soon. dont stress! it WILL go away before then!
