Okay so I am having a destination wedding in St. Lucia on May 15, 2009. I plan on having a beach ceremony and reception but if things change and we end up having it somewhere other than the sand, I need shoes to wear. I guess my question is what should I do about the legnth of my dress AND what color should my shoes be?
It depends on the look you are going for, a punch of color with hot pink could be really great or you could go with an ivory, creme tone. I would stick with a flat or low heel if you are on the beach or a wedge of some sort. It should be light and airy since you are at the beach.
I was going to suggest the light gold as well, but I think the hot pink could be really cute, too! I think it depends on how elegant vs. playful you want to go.

posted by michelle51509 3 posts 2 months agoI'm wearing blush pink and I have pewter d'Orsay pumps: http://coryandbecca.blogspot.com/2008/03/buyers-remorse.html. I don't think pumps would work for you on the beach, but I'd go with a metallic.
