I'm looking into venues that are enclosed (we will probably have a very cold or very hot weather wedding) in the North Burbs. Park districts, etc. Any ideas? We can't go farther than Gurnee on the north, Evanston on the south, and Milwaukee Road on the west. Thanks!!!
I don't know my Chicago geography that well so this may be too far west but I had dinner this summer at Meson Sabika which is a tapas restaurant in Naperville. It's a restaurant which is a mansion built in 1847 - beautiful and great food. Next door on the property is another building called the Pavillion. Receptions can be in the mansion or the Pavillion. There happened to be a reception at the Pavillion when we were at the restaurant. I'm from Bourbonnais, about an hour or so south of Chicago. Not sure how this would work with your location parameters but I would have LOVE to have had my reception at the Brookfield Zoo. They include pretty much EVERYTHING, including wedding cake and drinks in your meal price! Their prices are between $70 and $90 per person, but like I said, that's everything!
