I cannot belive its here! All this intircate planning, family drama, posting frantic lengthy , no-paragrapher, poor spelling posts, almost at an end! I must be honest and say I am relived there is an end to the madness!
I'm excited to see all the details and hardwork pay off! There have been many times I thought I was going to loose it, (the last 3 weeks were nuts!) but all and all, I am very organized and have been complemented by all my vendors for being such and organized bride!
I am prepared that nothing is perfect and things may not go as planned, but my loved ones will be all together, happy, and enjoying great wine!
It hasn't hit me, I just keep on going down my checklist, making calls, sending emails, verifying, clairifying EVERYTHING. I'm Miss P for only 6 days longer!!
Congratulaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaations! I'm not too far behind you. Think it'll be wierd after you get married? Not the whole husband and wife thing... but the who do I have to keep track of next, deposits to be made, crafty stuff to get put together, songs, center pieces, favors, presents, annoying suggestions that made you think WTH?... and most importantly will you still be on here to help us Bees? LOL I hope everything goes as planned for you! If not... we can go find the nearest bar and drink it out. LOL
Congrats from me too! I am so jealous because I'll bet all the heavy lifting is behind you. I would love to hear from you when it really hits you...the morning of the day after...a week later. Enjoy!
Thanks gals! I wish I could say I have no worries, but if you've read my other posts, you will know I have a "passionate" family! Things will be interesting for sure! LOTS of girls in the family , so we're all high -maintance! (I'm not ashamed to say!)
I have been trying to prepare myself, expecting a wave of many emotions that will difinately hit that day!! Like I said, I'm high maintnaince and my biggest fear is my mascara giving me racoon eyes when I tear up when we're exchanging our vows!! (We wrote them ourselves!)
I'm a makeup artist, so I'm making an emergency kit that I can stash in my Matron of Honor's purse! We're paying a pretty penny for our photo's so I better look my best the whole day!!
Another thing that's been on my mind is hoping the girls I'll be getting ready with don't all want me to do their makeup,,,is this really mean or selfish of me? I do want everyone to look and feel their best, but at the same time, I'm scared that if I help one person, I'll have to help everyone!(Remember LOTS of girls,,,seriously, at least 10!) And by the way I am THAT good at make up!
So how should I approach this? I don't want to hurt feelings, but it's my day isn't it? Or should I help them when I can,,,the big thing is false eyelases,,I'm the only one who know's how to apply them. It takes a few minutes, multiply that by 10,,yeah.
Seriously I'll need every minute to spare! I'm driving 45minutes the morning of the wedding. The venue is in a small town and I'm getting my hair done. It's where I usually get my hair done in my home city. I have my schedual planned, an early appointment and then straight to my aunts in the same town as the venue, to finish gettting ready!
Whew! I don't think it stops girls, till you have that bubbly glass in your hands sitting listening to all the toasts! (you had the right idea NorCalBride!) Until then,,I must keep my head! Somehow...
