@MaxwellsMama:  That gem size seems to me like it would be big enough to get in the way of everyday tasks, especially on a size 6.5 finger. I woulnd’t be able to wear something like that, but maybe you’re used to wearing large stones. Rubies are magnificently beautiful, though! Have you worn rings with that size stone in them regularly?

I don’t have an oval. But my e-ring including halo is 10mm x 10mm and my finger is a size 6.

It doesn’t get in the way at all daily. I take it off for any baking/cooking/dishes washing though.

I think it would be gorgeous!

This may help a bit with the visual, this is a 9×7 mm center, so with the halo it is closeish  to what yours would be, it is a size 7.

I think it would be sizeable but in a great way! I do not think it would be to big at all!

I think as a solitaire, a 10×8 would be pretty large, but it would look stunning. I’m thinking of an 8×6 oval or radiant cut and I’m the same finger size. Anything bigger would be uncomfortable but only because I work in a place in which I use my hands a lot.

@iiiEllie:  Such a pretty ring and I love that your mani matches your stone!

I’m a little late to the game but my stone is 10mm x 7mm. It is large but not unmanageable! I really like the size!
