Needing ideas on centerpieces!

posted 1 month ago in Beehive

My wedding is the first time to do anything with a wedding. I'm the first in my family and friends. I'm needing ideas on my centerpieces. I'm thinking about using painted branches inside square vases. Good idea or not? Any suggestions?

That sounds really pretty!

I saw some where people had a fish bowl with a goldfish swimming around. Too many goldfishes afterwards ;)

What color would your branches be?

I'm possibly doing that... the branches in vases.

I'm actually using a rounded vase, filled with tumbled river rocks, with curly willow branches. Luckily, my parents havea curly willow tree, saving me about $200!

I've thought about spray painting them, but haven't decided.

Other ideas we've got include different sizes/shaped bottles with wildflowers on each table or trifle dishes filled with green apples and/or lemons and limes.

We are using branches in square vases. We aren't painting them. We are just going to cut them down from trees ourselves out of the back yard. We are using river rock to fill the vases and and hanging tea lights from the branches. It's cheap and simple. Just make sure if you use branches to keep the candles more than burning distance away from the branches
