Liz! You can't tell from my screen name, but it's me, Mary. I love seeing you on here. I'm feeling pretty good about where I am with the planning, but it's funny. Right before Christmas, I thought I was the best wedding planner ever and that I had done loads of stuff and had tons of time. And then I flew back to Nashville the day after the Academy reunion and was all of sudden struck with the overwhelming feeling that I had SO MUCH to do and no time to do it in. I'm not sure what happened! It was like 2 weeks! So I went into uber wedding planning mode and I'm feeling a lot better. My big thing right now is figuring out hotels for all the guests, because all of them are coming in from out of town. There's also all those darn DIY projects, but I feel like those will be fun, relaxing and an excuse to plop down on the floor with some friends and a chick flick. Right? :-D
Mary! That's too funny! So I idiotically didn't realize that my login/screen name would be unchangeable, hence the use of my real name... oh well! I feel kinda dorky blogging about my wedding so much, but this site has been so super helpful for me and everyone on here is very nice! I'm very glad to see you on here too :)
I'm totally with you - right after the holidays everything kind of hit me too! I think the new year made everything more real for me. I'm having my wedding about 30 mins outside Abq so not only do I have to worry about the out of towners, but even the locals probably have to book a room, which is i kind of a pain :-/ BUT I used trip advisor to figure out hotels and that worked really well for me so I highly recommend it :)
I love the DIY projects for that exact reason - it's a great excuse to have some champaign, watch a girly movie and relax with friends....

I really like celebrating these even numbers! 130 days!!!! Wahoooo!!! I am super excited (can you tell?) As of yet, the stress hasn't set in and I'm still loving all of the planning... Even though I def still have a ton to do:
