My wedding is in 17 days - I don't think I want to wear my dress.  It is uncomfortable and does not feel like it fits right.  It is really heavy and feels like it is pulling down on me.  On looks alone which one looks better??  I know what I want to do but I would like to hear others opinions....

    Thanks  : )

    They are both beautiful ,

Dress B seems to fit you a little better.  You could also wear dress A if you just have it pulled in a little bit at the top.  Either one will be very pretty.. Good luck!

I chose B because I think it fits better in it and you look happier in it!

Which one aren't you happy with?

Something about the bodice of dress A does not seem to be fitting you just right. Thay are both beautiful, but if you can't make adjustments, I'd say dress B because it seems to fit you better.

I agree that dress B looks really nice on you and fits you well. Something about dress A is just a bit off to me. Which dress is the one you don't like?

I like the sparkle of A, but I can see that it's not quite right on top abd B does fit better.

I am partial to dress A without a veil but that may be because my dress is very similar and I am in love with it!

Which dress is the dress you already have?

Just judging on the photos, I think Dress B looks better on you.

The dress with the veil (Dress B) is the dress I have.  I guess with the beading and the empire waist it makes it really heavy.  It either feels like it is pulling down on me and not on me right, or when they try to fix that it is too tight.  Either way it just doesn't fit well so I don't know what to do.  It is a really pretty dress but I don't want to be in pain or extremely uncomfortable.

Why does the other dress not look like it is not fitting right?  What specifically?  Dress A would still need to be altered.  It also had some sleeves that I had tucked in - not sure if that is also making it look weird?

I like dress A better. I'm guessing it doesn't fit as well because it hasn't been altered. I like it without the sleeves.

if dress B is already altered, is there a way to make it work? maybe with undergarments that help support the dress so it doesn't weigh down on you that much?

Dress B is defintitely a better choice!  Sorry!  I don't like the ribbon around the front on Dress A--it seems out of place.

Thanks for the opinions - I appreciate it.  I feel like I have tried just about everything with my dress - talked with 3 seamstresses, tried different undergarments, nothing seems to work.  I just worry that a couple hours into the day I will be in pain and won't be able to truly enjoy the night.

This isn't me just freaking out because I never had the "omg this is the dress" feeling.  I bought it because at the time I didn't find one I liked better.  I have been worried about the fit for a while but kept telling myself the seamstressses will figure it out and make it work - I just don't think that is going to happen at this point.  I have had 4 fittings already.  I have told them my concerns and the consensus is that I should just have it fit where it feels like it is pulling down vs. too tight.  Either way I am not comfortable!

I don't know if this matters but our wedding ceremony will be outside (weather permitting).  Our reception room is just beautiful - 2/3 of the room is floor to ceiling windows overlooking a forested area.  We are having more of a nature theme for the wedding.  I just keep telling myself it will work out the way it is supposed to!

I think that dress B looks awesome on you! I'm not crazy about dress A- the little ribbon in the front looks a little dated (imho). Dress B is BEAUTIFUL! However, it seems that you are more concerned with the fit than the actual style of the dress- maybe a different seamstress? Good luck!

I much preferred A. I like how it is more lacy and prefer the details of it, like the bottom trim. I also think that it looks better in the back. They are very similar though. Good luck!

Well, with 15 days til the wedding I bought the other dress!!!  I am SO happy I did .  I went back into the shop and brought my jewelry and veil (which somehow went better with this dress...) and I almost teared up from being so happy!  I never got that feeling from the other dress.  I LOVE it!

Here is a picture - pardon the look on my face - people kept telling me what to do with my arms in the picture! It looks even more beautiful in person.

YAY! I am so glad that you picked Dress A! You made the right decision...the dress looks so wonderful on you and you look a lot more comfortable!!! You definitely don't want to be miserable on your wedding day because your dress is falling down or too tight. Plus, I just really love the detail on Dress A!

Now at least you will have a fun (not fun now, but fun later) story to tell your kids (if you have any) about your wedding dress fiasco! I'm so glad that you are happy with you decision!!!

I like dress A better on looks alone.  But you should go with what you're comfortable in.  If one of them feels like it's pulling down, you don't want to spend all night tugging on your dress!  Both are beautiful and you'll look amazing in whatever you choose!
