Do you want un updo or have your hair down? I always think that Veronica Lake inspired dos are lovely!
Those are pretty! very natural and dreamy. I'm thinking a half-up and half-down style perhaps. I don't think I want an all up style. Just seems a little too formal for my taste. Thanks for posting them :-)
Here is my inspriation - and my hair trial from yesterday - i think it's pretty vintage.
Okay, so my inspiration was from inglorious basterds --- but I can't find any pictures of the woman who had the hairstyle. I tried it on myself a few weeks ago, though, so I'll post the picture from that. I will probably wear my hair like this for the e-pics as well as the wedding, since both are vintage-styled.

I'm looking for a hairstyle that channels the looks of the 1920s-1950s. My dress is a reminiscent of a 40s look in the front, and a little bit Roman goddess looking in the back. I'm considering hair flowers, side parts, loose waves, satin headwraps/headbands to compliment the look.
I'm really not into big bridal updos, stiff styles, and I don't want to look like I stepped out of the wrong decade. Just looking for something a little more vintage, kind of like The Notebook hairstyles.
Is anyone hoping for the same kind of thing for their wedding hair? Do you have any inspiration pictures, or pictures of real wedding hair - from your wedding or someone elses? Any pics or ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!
