Oh damn! I usually lose my shit by 11pm with no contact! I hope he’s okay, but I support you laying into him once he’s home!!

@newcitylights: That would piss me off, too. Men seem to interpret these feelings, however, as not being those of concern for well-being and more of a control-freak thing. It’s frustrating to me as well- if my FI is out of town I like to know when he is home for the night so I can stop worrying about something bad happening to him. I’d just have a frank discussion when he gets in. It’s not very considerate of your feelings.

@newcitylights:  Just don’t kill him, you’ll regret it later… In all seriousness though I’d be fuming… I don’t mind you being out justlet me know you’re ok and when you’ll be home and then if something changes in when you’ll be home let me know! You shouldn’t have to play mother bugging him about it, he should realise that its common sense that you’ll worry and that a single message would put you at ease..

I would hate that! Seriously, how hard is a call to let one know they’re okay ? Though I worry/ over think a lot. I hope you hear from him soon!

I wouldn’t be able to sleep either, I clean when I’m mad / upset ( with my grumpy face on of course)

@newcitylights:   Any chance he’s home but forgot to text you? Did you try texting or calling him?

ETA: Just read you live together. Just send him a text that you’re worried and just want to make sure all is well. If he doesn’t respond to that at some point, then I would be upset.

@newcitylights:  Ugh, that really irks me!

DH used to be like that but has since changed his ways (thank god!)

I won’t tell anybody if you decide to kick his ass 😉

@newcitylights:  It took one REALLY angry conversation to snap him out of the stupid habit lol he still sucks at texting but takes the time to call 🙂

@newcitylights:  Have you tried ringing him yourself to check if he’s ok?

@newcitylights:  I hope your “conversation” goes well 😉

I asked DH and he said he remembers me crying more than yelling. I guess seeing me be upset with worry stuck with him more than my anger.

@ksus07:  +1

Why not just call him or shoot him a text?
