wabanzi:  Beautiful dress and beautiful bride! I love the added cap sleeves , but the important thing is that you wear what you like.

wabanzi:  I am normally a fan of cap sleeves, however I think they take away from your dress where the focus is. Which is the detail on the bodice. But IF you feel more comfortable with them, it shouldnt matter what anyone else thinks. Beautiful either way!

wabanzi:  I didn’t vote because I love the dress either way – whatever makes you feel comfortable.  You could also wear the cap sleeves for the ceremony and remove them for the reception.  You look fabulous, and the dress is so beautiful!!

And a warm hello to a fellow close to 50 bride!!  I’m just on the other side of the “hill” – I turned 52 in April and will be married in early June.

wabanzi:  Personally I like it better without the cap sleeves, but I’m biased against cap sleeves as I have yet to find one that doesn’t make me feel like I have fat arms… That being said, those sleeves do not make your arms look big at all, I just think they take away from that gorgeous bodice details & I really liked the statement necklace in the last pic. It’s your wedding – either way your gonna be gorgeous so whatever makes you feel comfiest! =)

Lovely dress and stunning look ! Nicer with the sleeves – in my opinion. Gorgeous veil too

The cap sleeves are too much, in my opinion — they make it look cluttered. I LOVE it without them.

wabanzi:  I totally get the wanting a bit more coverage thing, I’m having sleeves added to my dress as well. That being said though, I’m not a fan of this style of cap sleeve…..it looks more like straps to me. Would you consider something like this?
