I was going to go with the first one.

I said, “You know what? I’m only getting married once.” and I tried on a handful more (I only tried on maybe 10 dresses at the most?) and I bought the very last one I tried on.

What’s the harm? Try it on and enjoy it.

I was going to go with the first dress I tried on. It was pretty, but the consultant (and FI’s aunt and cousin) urged me to try on more. I’m so glad I did, because my dream dress was absolutely nothing like the first dress that I had been dreaming of.

The dress I was swooning over was a Lazaro. Drop waist, hand beaded GORGEOUS bodice, big, poofy tulle skirt. It was stunning.

The dress I wound up with? An amazing Paloma Blanca that is mermaid, only a little bling underneath the bust, and super simple with rouching all over. It’s gorgeous, it’s me, it was the perfect gown for me.

If you think you are going to regret going with the first dress and not exploring your options, then why not do just that? Trying on a few gowns that are maybe different styles/sihlouettes is a great idea and something that I think everyone should do. No matter how sure that you are that this is “the” dress.

Have a great time tomorrow, and don’t forget to take lots of pictures!

@cupcakebride2013:  What website is this? You have to be pretty careful because there’s a lot of replica websites. Not saying replicas are bad (that’s what I was oirignally planning on), but there’s some way sketchy companies out there.
