Good luck tomorrow!  I guess I would be one of the “lucky” ones as well but it was so great to hear the h/b at our 9 week appointment.  Good luck tomorrow!

Good luck! I think being tired is a great sign. It means your body is working hard to grow your baby!

Everyone is totally different.  I have a close friend who is only a couple of weeks ahead of me and our pregnancies are going totally different.  She’s sick all the time and has a huge gag reflex.  I’m not at all.  She’s napping all the time.  I fight through it just to get to the end of the day.  We’re all different.  Nothing wrong with that.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes!  I am only 5 weeks and I find myself filled with constant worry. So I can totally relate.

I have to wait until March 4th for my 1st appointment, so I am eager to hear how it goes and what you thought about it all.

Also, what is the very 1st ultrasound like?  I hear it’s vaginal…but I assume you get to hear the heartbeat. I am eager to hear what you heard (or saw?) during your first ultrasound

Wishing you luck and let us know how it goes

Good luck – so exciting!  We had our first one around 10 weeks and I wasn’t really nervous at all – I was like you though – no real crazy symptoms, no morning sickness or anything notable, just fatigue and some slight nausea sporadically (usually when I smelled something that grossed me out or when I got really hungry – I did NOT feel well when I let myself get  hungry!)

The doctor who did our ultrasound told us he was just going to look at first and not say much and then tell us what he saw after a few minutes.  I told him all I was worried about was the heartbeat and he paused and then said ‘You mean heartbeatS???’  Yup – despite an easy start to the pregnancy we were (are!) expecting twins!  We’re 22 weeks now and have a major ultrasound today so I’m right back where I was 12 weeks ago – a bit nervous but so excited to see (in our case) them!

Good luck and enjoy it.  You probably won’t be able to ‘hear’ the heartbeat (we weren’t) but the doctor in the ultrasound was able to show us the little flickers on the screen to show us where the heartbeats were at the time.  The babies at that point are like little beans!  Keep us posted on how it goes!

I cried so much at the first ultrasound… the Tech thought she was hurting me lol (it was a vaginal US). Just the relief to see that everything is ok.

@NewbyMom2Be : You’ll be shocked to see the different from 9-11 weeks… arms, legs, the profile and all the moving !!! Its amazing πŸ™‚
