I don’t have any Paris suggestions, but as far as gifts, first anniversary is paper, so maybe a book? (If Mr. Maioza is into books.) Or possibly art?

Hmm, paper anniversary gift… how about tickets to something he’s into, like a music concert or comedy show, to go to after you’re back home?  Light/easy-to-pack, plus it’ll extend the celebration, and who doesn’t love to do that!

@Maioza:  Splurge on a 6 course meal. When I was there for my dad and step moms wedding we went to a restaurant on a canal that had the most amazing food, and was something like 6 or 7 courses. Talk about amazing.

@Maioza:  I dont πŸ™ It was owned by a family friend so thats all I ever heard and we went in at night and the place was closed for my family. πŸ™ Sorry.. but I am sure you can find something good by googling.

If he collects baseball cards, autographs, comics, maybe something rare or hard to find

Printed menu of a special dinner you’re cooking

Gift certificate to a restraurant or

Gift certificate for men’s day spa for a straight razor shave 

Custom painting or caricature of the two of you 

Nice famed wedding photo

Boudoir session

Lottery tickets with a different meaningful gift
