Does anyone have pictures of a 2 or 3 carat sapphire engagement ring on a size 5 finger?
I have a size 5 finger and I tried on a 3 carat cushion cut diamond with a halo and it looked amazing! BUT I know that a 3 carat diamond and a 3 carat sapphire look different…

A sapphire with the same carat weight of a diamond will be smaller because they are heavier. I do not have a photo, but I hope another bee can help 🙂

I have a 3 stone ring, but the middle stone is a sapphire. My sapphire is 2.1 carats and I wear a size 7.

@flny: I Wish! My e-ring is a 2 carat sapphire but it’s currently sitting on our desk, he hasn’t proposed yet! But a sapphire will be smaller both because it is a bit heavier than a diamond, and because a sapphire cut is wider towards the base (less conical) than a diamond cut in order to have the best color, so less of the weight is in width at the face.

This is my sapphire ring. It is 3.3 carat oval sapphire and I have a size 5 1/4 finger.

I have a 2 carat sapphire and it’s visibly smaller than my mom’s diamond studs. Your best bet to get a true to size is to get the dimension an compare them to the ones used for diamonds.
