We were going to, but one of our GM decided to be a jerk, so now we're even. But what we were planning on doing was just having one of the girls walk down with two guys - I definitely think that it would look fine!
I'm sorry you're having to deal with this - that's so hard!
What a bummer about your bridesmaid, but don't worry it can totally work with an uneven wedding party. I had three and my husband had two on his side. We had his best man walk both my sisters down the aisle, and it was kind of cute!
Those are awesome ideas!! I hate to be pulling out these bridezilla moments and i dont even know how to reply to that text... i feel like saying "im glad you would have been late to my bridal shower" or... "i have a freak out moment every time i rememeber you dont have your stupid dress" orrr "how can you not rememeber my freaking bridal shower, i was early to yours?!?!!"
Sigh. But i really like the idea of two men walking the bridesmaid down the aisle
you can have the boys and girls all go seperately..
for the procession, have the boys walk up with your FI, then the girls process in front of you.
for the recessional, after you and your hubby walk out, have the girls all follow you and the boys follow the ladies
would that work?
Beav, that sounds like a good idea! I think though when they leave ill have the last two groomsmen walk with my bridesmaid and then have the moh and bm walk together. Its all coming together! YAY
We had 2 groomsmen and 1 bridesmaid. It was quite fine. The men were waiting up there and when leaving , the bridesmaid walk down the aisle with one groomsman on each side. =)
Yepp, I'm having 8 BM and 1 Jr. BM, 5 Groomsmen and 4 ushers, so I'm having the ushers walk the girls down the isle too, even though they won't stay standing up there with the groomsmen :)
Im glad im not the only one! Im excited about my unevenness now haha

Welllllllllllll
Has anyone had an odd number of groomsmen and bridesmaids? How did they end up walking and lining up?
My bridesmaid is probably not going to be doing her duties. She doesnt have her dress yet, and my count down is down to 2 weeks and 6 days, and TODAY she texted me and said that she thought today was my bridal shower and she was glad because she had almost forgotten it (this was texted almost two hours after my shower is starting next week). This is awful, but im super excited because everything else is taken care of, except her and her dress. So has anyone else had a different number of maids/men??
