ARGH! i'm so sorry!
I'm keeping fingers crossed for you, but she will probably have to recoup even if they send her home. Perhaps you could visit with her right after the dinner? Bring her photos, or maybe some food from the event?? Just so she can still feel part of it...
Oh no, hope she feels better!
My hubby was in the hospital the weekend before our wedding. He had a crazy rapid heart beat that ended up being due to anemia. It's a scary time, but hopefully she will be ok and be able to celebrate with you!
I am so sorry about your FMIL! My thoughts are with her and you. I hope she gets better soon.
oh no... all the best wishes for you and yours - I hope she'll be able to participate and starts feeling better soon!
Thanks everyone! Fingers crossed and hopefully are prayers are heard. It would be devistating to FI and I if she couldn't be there.
Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, I'll be thinking about your and your family (/family to be).
Ok I also just found out that our bridesmaid and groomsmen's (husband and wife) 5 month old son was also admitted this afternoon for dehydration. They just told me, 10 hours later. I am sure they didn't want to give me something to worry about. I just feel so badly for them, the wedding means nothing in comparison to him.

My wedding is in two days and I just found out that my FMIL is in the hospital. She has COPD and lung cancer (although the tumor has shrunken to nothing). She has been on oxygen 24/7 for the last few months. She went in for pulmonary functions and ekg today. The found "a weakness in her heart." She had a cardic cath today and she has to stay over tonight. My future in laws are throwing us our rehearsal tomorrow and they have friends that have flown all the way from Denmark coming. She is hoping to be able to go home tomorrow morning. Keep your fingers crossed....
