Another bridesmaid just had to drop out(thats two so far) The first one is preggers adn the baby is due like 2 weeks to the date before my wedding so she cant be a bridesmaid. The second one is having financial difficulties right now and told me that she cant focus on my wedding right now. I totally and completely understand where both girls are coming from but im still sad about it :( Ive been best friends with both of them since about 11th grade (and highschool was 7 years ago....weve alwayas talked about how we would be bridesmaids for each other in the weddings but no neither of them cant. My first bestie ended up eloping and the other bestie doesnt even have a SO right now...so now the opportunity will have passed Sigh :(

Keeping it positive(or at least trying to) I am blessed to have a couple of other ladies in my life who are willing to step up for me...but of course it wont be the same

That is going to happen. It happened to me. One of my girls was going through a divorce and we found out a few days after my hubby and I got engaged.

If it is still early in your planning maybe ask someone else.

Sorry to hear that hun.  Weddings are such an emotional and exciting time that it really hurts when these things happen.  I'm glad you understand the pregnancy reason.

My suggestion for the one with financial difficulties is to offer to pay for her dress, shoes, hair, accessories for her if you really want her there.  All she would then have to do is buy you a present which is probably not much to expect.   If she declines, let it go and move forward to enjoy this time.

It sucks if they can't be in it, but no reason not to enjoy this wonderful time of happiness.  Stay strong xox
