I was told by my company ( one of the main financial companies) that my job would be outsourced and i had the option to get something inside.
After a long try to get into another department than finance – i was in their procurement before i took my current finance job – i couldnt find anything. or didnt get anything.
only within my current department ( financial ops), they gave me 2 offers. one is for a platform implementation which replaces other financial systems , the other is for regulatory reporting with the Feds.
job 1 is a totally new system, everybody will be new and its more IT. It pays 8 k less than the other job regulatory reporting which i have never done in my life. then again i have never done a platform implementation either.
what would you do? take a job that makes more money but you would be more stressed out working weekends and 10 hour days or a job a level down that is with a new team where you can develop yourself and expectations might not be that high because the job level is lower?
i am not lazy – i just dont want to get into something that overwhelmes me and i end up hating it.
i am not sure and i have to decide quick. help!!!!
