@spaganya: Me too!! Our wedding is about a month and a half away and I feel like the butterfliese are really kicking in! My mind just can't settle at night- there's too much to do. That's why I'm also up at 2am! 
I've been feeling the butterflies also! It's becoming pretty real and we're getting to all the last minute things. I'm super excited and I can't wait!
Umm freaking out?? YES!!! I can't believe how soon Sept will be here!
What we have left to do:
-figure out favors
-find flower girl dresses/ringbearer outfit
- decide on ceremony music and 1st dance, cake cutting songs etc.
- finish writing our vows
- figure out how we're doing menus and placecards
-and oh yeah, send out our invitations!! Which are currently being calligraphied, so hopefully that won't take too long.
Freaking out doesn't begin to describe it! Haha! We are a month and 4 days out. We have a few groomsman that need to get in for thier tux fittings, the bridesmaids need to get their dresses altered, I have my final fitting, we have to meet with our pastor, finialize the ceremony, finish our programs, finish the floral displays, and finialize details with the entertainment. Whew! We had a year long engagement that just FLEW by...I'm hoping this last month goes by slow, just so I can get everything done! lol!
I had a moment yesterday where I was really excited to be getting married. I could see happy faces of my family, me in my dress, my fiance being my husband! It was a nice break from all the wedding detail stress that I'm usually agonizing over!
My list is continually growing and I'm trying to get stuff done every weekend. Thankfully my FI has really realized how close it's getting and is trying to help more than he has in the last 11 months of being engaged! :)
@hilsy85: oh poop i forgot about menu and place cards! lol there goes "oh im almost done!" lol
The to do list seems to be growing the closer I get! We're stuffing our invites this week and they're going out next week! I can't wait to start getting RSVPS in and my bridal shower is exactly two weeks from today! Woohoo!
My shower is in a couple weeks too! I cannot wait for that part!! And the HONEYMOON. I keep having to remind myself, "Not only do I marry my best friend, but I get to hop a plane & go a vacation too!" Can it get any better :)
OMG yes! I'm starting to panick about getting everything done! Baby sis will be in town next weekend so I might put her to work cutting and pasting as most of my stuff is paper. :)
To Do:
1.Create guest cards (tather than a guest book)
2.Design all signage
3.Create candy buffet signs/decorate jars/design dessert table
4.Decorate favor boxes
5.Create photosharing cards
6.Tie bows to all vases
7.Decorate card box
8.Photograph table design (to ease set up)
9.ORDER RINGS (I'm sooo slacking on this)
10.Create hair flower
11.Create cake decor
Whew! I'm sure there's more but I can't handle more than that now.
September 11 ! 9/11 and we actually get alot of weird looks, but hey, look at it this way...if you were born sept 11, you wouldn 't not celebrate your b-day, right?
@hilsy85: Haha! Sorry to add to your list. :) Althought everytime I see one of these I think of other things I'm forgetting as well.
Yup 2 months and I am trying my best to just not think about it too much! I am working to get wedding things done, but trying not to focus on how fast time is moving!
I'm definitely starting to feel the pressure. It feels more concrete, as we hit real deadlines that can't be missed or fudged (like getting invites out on time).
I've been making steady progress. I had my shower last weekend and did my thank you notes last week. Today I ordered my bridal jewelry (pearl bracelet, and pearl/diamond pendant necklace) and I made insert cards for my invites. Tomorrow and this week I'll address and stuff all invites and get them ready for mailing by next weekend. My dress should be in any day now. I still have a lot to do, but the progress seems steady.
@camrie: We JUST got FI's ring in the mail, but we haven't even ordered my band yet. I'm totally freaking out!!! We've been playing phone tag with our jeweler. It's making me crazy!!!! ACK!!!!!
I'm working on programs and our escort cards today while FI drops FSS back home. That'll give me about 3 hours of solitude and concentration. I ordered our guestbook last week, so hopefully it'll be ready for pick up in the next week or two. I'm taking my mom to pick out her dress this week. I also need to design the tags for our favours, etc. I have a lot of paper stationery work left! It's making me nuts!!!
I'm also thinking about doing some mercury glass.... We'll see about that...
We just finished tying 210 bows onto our menu's, we still have tons to do but I feel ok. Now if I can just kick these wedding jitters I'll be fine.
@bakerella: Okay haven't order EITHER of ours yet - def on my todo list for this week! FI's shouldn't take that long cause he wants something basic but for mine there's a possiblity I'll be getting it the week of the wedding. :)
I figure we'll still be just a married even if I have to use a stand-in ring (which I actually had a dream about - except we tried to use twisty ties). I have my grandmother's wedding band so even if I did have to use that I think it would be sort of sweet.
@camrie: For FI's ring we used Titanium Knights off Etsy, we LOVE it! Super fast delivery, really nice rings, price point was perfect (figure we'll have to replace it a few times, FI is a contractor and will have to take it off for work a lot and I know he'll lose it). We FINALLY heard back from our jeweler literally minutes ago (yes, after 10pm but like we're not going to take the call). We're meeting him on Wednesday thank goodness!!!!! Apparently he's moved more towards wholesale and is doing less personal stuff. Too bad so sad, you're making my ring!!!! LOL!
I love the idea of your grandmother's band, that would be so sweet! I had wedding band dreams too. Mine was that we got to the part in the ceremony when we exchange rings and we realized we didn't even buy any, never mind forgot them at the house or whatever, LOL! I think I've had that dream at least twice, hence my hounding FI daily about the jeweler ;)
My wedding is Sept 4/10. My shower is on July 25 and my bachelorette party is Aug 14. My first dress fitting is tomorow.
Some things on our near future to do list include: Figuring out our alcohol list, talking to the pastor, talking to the MC, making a seating chart (rsvp deadline isn't until Aug 4), making programs, making my favours (chocolates), writing my speech (BIG UGH!) getting my hair trials done. Not too much is really stressing me out. I'm just really nervous about the day for a few reasons: I'm a PERFECTIONIST and I have to get it in my head that things will not go perfeclty and I have to remember NOT to get upset. I don't want to do a speach :( I'm nervous about all the attention that is going to be on me on the day.
I don't have my freakin dress yet! It's supposed to arrive this month but I'm freaking out. We don't have any of our readings or anything picked, so I can't order my programs. Once I DO order them, I'll have to assemble them. And decide on my jewelry and hair flower. I feel like I am way behind other Bees. 
@Bride_Colleen: I feel ya on the perfectionist front. I am a type A stress case and I'm really trying to work on being ok with things that don't go as planned. My fingers are crossed! ;)
Okay. I worked on programs today. I nearly have them figured out. BUT it also forced me to write our ceremony tonight which was great! It's less than 1000 words (without the vows we're writing each other), short and sweet! I feel SOOOO much better 
ahhh. i feel you!!!!!!!!!!! two months to the date. there's still lots to be done. i'm suffering from anxiety dreams...
@bakerella: I really need to get on my programs. They're stressing me out. Are you printing yours yourself?
There are some free program sites if you google them. I have one favourited on my other computer so I don't have the link right. I think they just print back to back on one sheet of paper then you fold it in half. Very simple; i'm not too stressed on the programs.
@toothfairyb: I'm going to be printing them myself, yes. Of course I've come up with another complicated (and therefore expensive) design to match our invitations. I can't do anything the simple way I swear...
@connoCat: I had anxiety dreams a couple months ago, but for some reason they've stopped. I don't understand why, I feel way more stressed now...
i woke up at 5am this morning (my usual wakeup time is 7am) because of the "to-do list" running thru my head!!! AHHHH!
we still have to:

-pick out 30 pics for our guestbook from photogs
-send out invites (this week!!!!!)
-did i mention i had to put a rush order for 50 more invites for my FMIL!?!?!?!!!
-print table cards/programs
-finish off giftbags for BM's/buy gifts for GM's
-buy flower vases for our bouquets
-buy/make cardbox
-pay off our vendors
-get my dress altered!!!
-buy wedding shoes!!!!
I AM FReAKING OUTTT!!!!
thankfully we're getting a lot of that list done this week... my shower is in two weeks... vegas in 5 weeks... and then the law school finals which will add more stress! AHHHH
@missjyc: You're totally fine!!! That's a do-able list, just conquer it one at a time. Don't worry about the rings, we got FI's from a vendor on Etsy a couple days ago and we're meeting with the jeweler for mine tomorrow. It was a huge stressor on my list too. I have trouble falling asleep at night because of my to-do lists in my head. FI calls it "busy head" ;)
I can't even list all the crap I have to do here - but freaking out?? YESS!!!!
After 17months of engagement I had my 1st "Wedding Dream" last night. We're borrowing our card box from friends who are already married. I dreamt FI was building our card box & the test card wouldn't fit. I remember saying "So just make the stupid hole bigger!" - apparently I said this outloud in my sleep & while FI was getting dressed this morning he asked me what the heck that meant!
Even weirder: Once I told him - FI said that our friend brought the card box to their softball game - it was in the back seat of the car overnight, he'd never told me about it. Weird.
We met with our jeweler tonight and my ring should be ready by the end of the month. HOORAY!!!! Plus the price he gave us was freaking awesome. I'm SO happy and SO relieved to strike that one off my list!!!!

My girlfriend/bridesmaid walked up to me the other day and goes- wow, i can't believe you're getting married and it's only 6 weeks away. I've been so consumed with work and wedding stuff- I didn't realize it was so close... and now- yes, i'm freaking out. haha

I have finally finished pretty much everything well almost LOL. Sending out invites tomorrow morning (well this morning since its 2am..) have my dress fittings set up, finally got transportation set...
now the only thing left is to finish getting all the glass cylinder floating candle vases for the centerpieces and wait for the RSVPs to come in to do the seating chart. We still have to meet with the photographer, cinematographer and DJ to finalize our wishes as well.
im starting to get butterflies all the time... augh! :)
