If David's had the organza sweetheart one when I was shopping I would have TOTALLY gotten it. I'm also completely in love with that Martina Liana one. I'm a fan of this trend!
I loved the last one two until I tried it on... The short dress is very...rigid. The beading is just really heavy and thick and not comfortable. :( Just my experience though. I do love the idea though.
I love this idea! The David's Bridal dresses are cute. I can't see the convertible dress option for the Martina though, maybe I'm missing something(?). I found another dress to add to your list: Liz Fields #9101. Unfortunately I haven't found anyone that caries that designer around where I live.

I wanted to try on those dresses today...that's the main reason why I posted this thread...I went to David's and they pulled a bunch of dresses that are nice, but I don't really care for. One of the dresses got a 7.5/10 but that's it. They didn't even pull the 2 in 1 dresses for me to try one :/
I'm currently lusting over the Dere Kiang convertible - luckily 2 salons here have this dress for me to try on, and I can't wait!
My dress, the Justin Alexander 9552, is a 2-in-1 dress, but not like these...
This is a really neat idea. Gotta be a lot easier to bust your move in one of these shorter dresses than in some of the full-length wedding dresses I've seen.

I love the idea of a 2-in-1 dress! Might make it easier to still wear after the wedding, in addition to a super cute reception dress!!
I am so pissed that David's didn't have these before my wedding, cuz I found the perfect one that I would have worn!!!! :(
My wedding dress is from Davids Bridal. It's the 2-n-1 dress and I added a vera wang sash just to give it a little sparkle. I will be altering the neckline to a sweetheart shape. I will post another picture of the dress after the alteration. I can't wait to get next month!
Thanks for all these posts. Wish I had found these a couple of weeks ago. I had loved the idea of a cermony and reception dress in one- but didn't know they were a real thing until I got engaged and started looking. I went to DB as soon as I found out that they carried a few (3 different styles) but they didn't have the wow factor I was hoping for. The problem now is that I've fallin for Martina Liana 260, but the price is well over what I was hoping for (retails over $2000). I just came across Liz Fields 9101 and love it too, and it's more in my price range then the Martina- but I can only find it for sale on this website betterbridalprices.com. Has anyone heard, gone through or know anything about Liz Fields or this betterbridalprices website. I want to try on the dress- because I fell in love with DB 2-1 fit n flare until I tryed it on. I'm in washington state so if there's anyone out there who knows more please contact me.
