If you don’t want it I’ll take it!!  It’s amazing.  I don’t have a two-tone ring but i have a two-tone wedding set.

@Mrs.D:  I honestly think that would look beautiful, not muddy at all.  But then I love the look of rose and white gold side by side.

It would be gorgeous. I’ll look for a couple of pics I’ve saved with a white diamond and rose gold white diamond halo.  I don’t know if this will help, but this is one of my pendants. Center pear shaped diamond is a J and the halo is fancy light pink diamonds in 18kt rose gold.

Here’s mine. White gold and white diamonds on the band with yellow gold and yellow diamonds on the halo.

@Mrs.D:  I would do it the  opposite, make the shank the gold colored gold and the halo around the stone the white gold/platinum.

I love a 2 tone look however, yellow around a diamond will reflect slighly yellow in your diamond. This is an issue with diamond simulants as well–if you get a moissanite, they already have a warmer (sl yellow/sometimes even hint of green) tint and the yellow setting around it will exacerbate the warmness, amora gem is supposedly whiter,as is CZ thus the yellow reflection may not be as noticiable.
I love mixed metals, lovely choice in setting by the way. Smile

@Mrs.D:  I love it! The two tone gold really adds to it!

I really wanted to have a bit of rose gold in mine
