i am looking for an all lace, trumpet silhouette gown. i have found two Enzoani gowns that are very similar. which one to choose?
i WILL alter the neckline of the Cambridge dress into a sweetheart too, so the neckline doesn't really matter to me. i am also willing to spend the $$ for the one that looks better, so money isn't an issue here. what i would really appreciate is your opinion on the shape of the dress on me and which one gives me a better "overall" look.
thank you so much!
cambridge (note that i will alter the neckline into a sweetheart).
I think the Cambridge is gorgeous! You look wonderful in both, but the sparkle and hem detail on the first one is really fabulous. I even like the neckline better than the sweetheart on the second. Unless its the lighting or the camera angle, the Cambridge wins my vote hands down!
I like the cambridge better. I don't think I would even change it to a sweetheart neckline, it looks great on you as is.
i am really confused!!
i really like the beading on Cambridge (Diana doesn't have any beadings/sparkles), but i also love the lace of the Diana dress. its lace has a scalloped hem and a "softer" pattern, the Cambridge lace has a more "pointy" finish on the hem, so i feel that Diana softer and more romantic.. what do you think?
i also like how Diana is more flare out on the bottom. but i guess i can try the Cambridge with a petticoat underneath to add volume to the flare? has anyone tried it? would it work?
omg tough call!!!! I think I'm leaning towards the diana, just because i love the top much better and the train, and the lace.
I really like the Diana on you. Plus it's already a sweetheart neckline so you wouldn't have to change it.
They both are gorgeous dresses but the Diana has my vote, too. Tough call!
That's a rough call, but I prefer the Diana. I like the lace along the bottom hem of the dress better, and just the overall pattern of the lace. Honestly, I don't think you could go wrong with either dress. Are the trains on both dresses similar?
They're both absolutely beautiful but I like the top of the diana better and the bottom of the cambridge. Since you're altering cambridge to be a sweetheart, I think it would be the total package. Beautiful!
I like the Cambridge better. I don't like the jagged look of the lace around the sweetheart on the other.
I like the pattern on the cambridge better...I don't like how there's a lot of space between the lace pieces on the diana. You look beautiful in the cambridge--it's a gorgeous dress!
I think the first one is prettier and more delicate...and I think that if you alter the neckline like you are saying it will be PERFECT!
I love the Diana on you! I think the sweetheart is very sexy and flattering!
They're both gorgeous and they are VERY similar, but I think I prefer the Diana.
thanks for all the comments. it's super tough! and there's a $1000 difference on price!! (Diana is the expensive one!)
the train on Diana is much longer than Cambridge's. i was planning to spend no more than $300 to buy a 2nd dress for the reception because i don't like the "flat" look of the bustles on lace dresses. however, since Diana has a very long train, i can do a double frenbh bustle and it looks really nice!
so i guess i can justify $300 of the $1000 this way.. but what about the balance $700?? :P
I prefer the diana. I think the deep sweetheart is really nice on you, and I love the bottom of the dress. I agree, they are very similar! Good luck with the choice.
I love the Diana dress. I think it looks much classier without all the added sparkle. You sparkle instead of the dress.
I like Diana because I tend to be drawn to less sparkles and less beading. I also like the scalloped neckline on Diana. :)
You look beautiful, but I prefer the Cambridge! Good luck making a decision!
Both look very very similar on you, but the Diana has more of an interest factor and a bit more drama than the Cambridge, which I like. So I vote for Diana.
OK, I went back and forth like 10x myself and it's not my dress so I can't imagine what you're doing! In the end I voted for the Diana because the lace really is gorgeous and I'm not a "sparkle" person. But really, they both look great on you!
Holy cow! The votes are exactly 50/50 - those dresses are really similar, but I really love the lace on the Diana better - and since you want the sweetheart neckline, why not get the one you won't have to alter? I vote Diana, but both look amazing on you.
Now that you said the train is longer on the diana, thats my for sure vote :) I'm surprised the votes are 50/50 exact WOW. It really is a hard decision, but I'd spend the extra money on the diana because of the train. The neckline is very flattering too.
oh my goodness they're nearly identical! But both sooooo gorgeous. oh my I love them both.
Are you getting a sweetheart like the one on Diana?
cause I like the fit of Cambridge better on you, but overall I like Diana better mostly cause of the sweetheart
both are sooo pretty.
Hey TingTing! Where did you end up finding your dresses?
They're both gorgeous and so similar...I voted Cambridge because I love the sparkles, and the lace looks nicer on that one too despite the pointy edge. I'm surprised that's the less expensive one. Is it because it's from the Enzoani Blue line? The flare at the bottom looks identical to me, at least in the photos.
They're both gorgeous and very similar. You can't go wrong either way! But I think I slightly perfer Diana because of the uniqueness of the neckline.
Both are really pretty, but I like the Diana one a little more on you!
I like the Cambridge... but you're right. Both dresses are really similar. Is one of them cheaper? Maybe that can help you to make your decision...
I like the Cambridge. I do like the sweetheart on the Diana but you said you would alter the Cambridge to make it a sweetheart so I would go with the Cambridge. You do look great in both, though!
Both dresses are beautiful and similar. If I had to choose one over the other one you - the Diana. I love the non-sparkly lace and it looks soft, romantic. The shape flatters you well too!
