Ok, I know I’m probably weird for keeping track of this, but two years ago today my DH proposed to me in Philadelphia near the gorgeous and famous Philadelphia Museum of Art. It was the most beautiful setting, during a fabulous sunset, and it was a moment that I will never forget.
Just curious to see if anyone else celebrates this too, or if I’m the only weird one!

starz88962: I’m having a long engagement too and plan on celebrating it. My FI proposed this past Valentine’s day (which is also our anniversary). Next V-day, we are taking a trip to St. Kitt’s to celebrate that day and have our engagement photos done there. We are calling it our engagement-moon lol.

Nope. I dont think you need to celebrate anything accept the wedding anniversary.
While we were engaged we did celebrate our one dating anniversary, but that’s stopped now. We, like, high five each other “hey been together 7 years now” insead of actually celebrating it.

Technically we will celebrate since it’s on Christmas 😉
But seriously, we won’t. We barely celebrate our dating anniversary (we acknowledge it, maybe go out to eat) but we’ll celebrate our wedding anniversary. Hopefully with a mini vaca!
Nothing wrong with wanting to celebrate whatever anniversary you want though 🙂 Hell celebrate all 3!

We celebrate our dating and wedding anniversary, but I think celebrating an engagement anniversary is a cute idea.

I’m in the same boat as playdohpants:, he proposed on Christmas so while it’s a fond memory and it’ll be nice to reminisce while surrounded with family we won’t be celebrating it in itself. We celebrated our dating anniversary this past May but I’m guessing once we’re married it’s just be our wedding anniversary (but I’m sure every May 17th it’ll be like “hey, we’ve been together X years today!”)

We’ve only been engaged for about 4 months, but I doubt we’ll celebrate it really. I tend to remember dates like this, but FI doesn’t. Our wedding is one day before our dating anniversary, so I don’t know if we’ll celebrate both unless we take a vacation every year (or a long weekend even).
