Also, what do you think you will be doing 10 years from now?

I was in 9th grade 10 years ago. I was a cheerleader and apart of the student council.

10 years from now I plan to be married, have a child or two, planning my 10 year anniversary trip,  and a successful lawyer (or starting my own business with FH, which is our goal).

I was in 7th grade, in band and in chorus plus in honors classes.  And actually I was a home room representative because one of my friends got everyone to vote for me and another girl we knew as a joke.  10 years from now I plan to be married, have two maybe three kids, and be successful in a career that I'm still unfortunately wavering on.

    Awe that is sweet ladies!

I forgot to add that I was in honor/AP classes and very active in the church. Hopefully ten years from now I will still be active in the church, and a little closer to my hometown than I am now.

10 years from now, I want to have a masters degree, a position as a professor at a university and MAYBE start TTC.

I was in 7th grade, my last year in private school.  I permed my hair (big mistake!) and played softball.  Yikes, what a year that was.

In 10 years I plan to have 2-4 kids, finally be done with all of my degrees, and living in an owned home.

10 years ago I was in 5th grade! Crazy. Horses were my life back then. I would have lived at the barn had my parents let me.

10 years from now - hopefully will be done with grad school and a practicing clinical Psychologist.

My FI and I started "going out" 10 years ago! I was 15 in 9th grade and he was 16 in 10th grade. hahaha. So funny to think about now. I ran track and cross country, was in honor society and band and chorus. In 10 years I hope to be a successful physical therapist (graduating this spring yay!) I also hope that I am a loving wife and mother!

10 years ago I was a senior in high school. My school-affiliated activies were forensics and scholars' bowl (quiz bowl).  I worked part time at a small-town grocery store. I took dance lessons 2-3 times a week (pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical), and babysat 2 little girls on those nights.  I was kind of a goth chick back then. I was dating my ex-husband; who was a varsity basketball player, so I spent a lot of times going to his games. I nearly lived in my car, and was driving about 600 miles a week between school, activies, work, and social life.

10 years from now, I expect to be married, have 2 kids, and live in the southeast of the US. I hope to have a career in holistic nutrition at that point. (I'm currently a web developer, but I want to eventually move into a career where I work with people more on a topic I am passionate about.)

@zippylef:   So funny you say this!  10 years ago, I was a sophmore in high school, going through a similar "goth/grunge" phase (not quite Wiccan, but close enough).  I had the dog collar, band shirts, totally into metal (possibly largely in part because my high school crush was really into metal.  And the fact that my best friend's love interest also was really into metal).  I think that was also the year I went to Ozfest...I was so cool.  :-)

In 10 years from now...I'd like to have kids, be settled in a house, and be settled in my career choice.  It's a bit of a bummer now, having recently graduated, not being able to just go into the world and do what I want to do.  But I want to be established as a therapist/clinical social worker, doing therapy with children and teens, and saving the world :-)

Love this post! 10 years ago I was in High School and was 16! My best friend was a hair straightening iron (seriously, I was obsessed with having pin-straight hair!).   I was on the Dance Team and Soccer Team and mostly I was just boy crazy! I followed around the baseball team like a little puppy.    My future Fi was on the baseball team and we met and started dating when I was 17!

10 years from now I wiill be 36! I hope to be a mother of 3 and working as a freelancer doing something in the Fashion industry. I hope to own my dream home and of course be happily married =)

Man!  Add me to the list of 7th graders!! I can't believe how many there are.  At that age...I just started to pick out my own clothes rather than rely on what my best friend ok'd as cool, I got braces, and developed an eating disorder.  Awesomeness.

Ten years from now...hmmm.  MAYBE will start TTC but probably will wait a few more years yet.  I'll hopefully be employed in the museum industry and/or working on my PhD at that point.  I really don't know!

I was in 12th grade, enjoying high schol and my group of friends, and starting to apply to colleges. It was a bittersweet time where I was ready to move on in my life but sad that my friend group would be more scattered and worried about whether I would end up on the same side of the country of my boyfriend (I didn't, we eventually broke up, and then got back together 5 years later and are getting married in a few months).

In 10 years, I'll have been out of medical school for 8 years and out of residency about 4. Hopefully I'll be well on my way to establishing myself in a practice and feeling like I'm competent at taking care of patients. My future husband and I will likely have a couple of kids--maybe toddlers at this point. I hope that we'll live near our families and get to see them frequently and that we all will be in good health.

10 years ago I was 18, had quit highschool to help my mother cope with depression and try to deal with my own, working at a nightclub 6 nights a week as a busser girl (worst job ever.).

I don't know where I see myself in 10 years...my life didn't go quite as I thought it would so I stopped attempting to plan and foresee everything, and learned to just let things happen.   Hopefuly at that point I'll be in a bit of a bigger house and out of consumer dect.

10 years ago I was 17 and just starting my senior year in high school.  I was in ballet and theater and in all the AP classes.  I was starting on my college applications and thought that the life of a high school senior was the most stressful thing ever (insert valley girl accent here - yes I'm actually from The Valley).

10 from now I'll be married with hopefully 2 or so kids and a handful of pets, (including the love of my life, Vincent the cat).  Hopefully we'll still be living in LA but will actually be able to afford a house in LA proper.  Hopefully we will be healthy and surrounded by in life with our friends and family.  Starting my own law practice would be a major bonus.

pb and j    September 2011   live in NY, wedding in Baltimore

10 years ago almost exactly to the day, my dad brought me up to NY to try to talk me out of applying early decision to NYU. I don't know what he was thinking but it definitely didn't work. I was a high school senior itching to move away.

In 10 years I hope we have a child, maybe two, a dog, and a huge apartment. I hope we have figured out a good way to raise our family in the city, but if it's not possible I hope we are not so selfish that we can't realize that maybe the suburbs would be better for our child/ren. I hope that we own and not rent. I hope to be happy with my career choices, whatever they may be. I hope to be saying to my husband, "I didn't think it was possible, but I love you even more now than I did 10 years ago."

I was a freshman in high school, a cheerleader for the football team and probably on high school boyfriend No. 2. I like boys. I couldn't help it. No. 3 came along about November. :D Throughout the year I was also a cheerleader for basketball and on the swim team.

In 10 years, I really jus thope I'm not still where I am now. I'll have my man by my side. Hopefully somewhere south. I'll want to be an editor at a magazine. I'll want to puppies and a kitty. Furbabies!! No real human kids though. I will make an excellent aunt though! I hope to also have a master's degree in something awesome - like underwater basket weaving! Ok, I kid. Maybe in Psychology or English or Communications.

10 years ago i was in 2nd year university, starting on what turned out to be a 5-year relationship.  Early University was probably one of the happiest times of my life!  I get very nostalgic thinking of it :)  I'm on the very very high side of my 20s - will be 30 in May 2011!

In 10 years I hope to be happily married and still delirously in love - i'd like to have children but i don't think i'll be devastated if i don't.  Most importantly I want to be working towards the development of an outdoor education centre for troubled kids.

    Fun!

10 years ago: This week I was 15 and a junior in high school. I'd was with my first boyfriend for about a month... but it was still about 3 months from when I got my license so we had to be driven to the movies by our moms-- hah! I was an honor student and a smart ass (some things don't change). I was really big into theater, and I think our fall play that year was Peter Pan (I was an Indian). I had saved all summer to pay for the trip I'd take that spring to France and Italy!

Today: I'm 25 with a fiance, a house, a dog, and two cats. I'm a lawyer and I don't like it. I've been back to Europe once more (London, Scotland, Spain) and Mexico.

In 10 years: I'll be 35 and hopefully in house #2 with my awesome husband. We'll still have dogs and cats. Hopefully we'll have been to a lot more places in the world! I hope I'm in a job I love-- maybe as a photographer! I hope we either have a couple kids, or we've decided definitely not to have them and are happy in our decision.

    hahaha this is AWESOME.

I was in Grade 9, get over an awful Gr.9 haircut and took a nickname "handlebars" through the entire year. I hadn't yet realized the older guys in high school were actually losers and gushed over them farrrr too much. I was horse crazy and still dreamed to have my own horse someday, but rode horses for many people and played on every sports team my school had. I had a different last name than I do now (an adopted step father) but have since gone back to my mother's maiden name.

10 years from now, I will have 3-4 children with my current FI, a couple dogs and hopefully have and great home after our current starter home with some great property not too far from the town where my children will go to school, and a short commute to the university I currently work for -and probably still will at that time, but perhpas in a different position! I will hopefully have some more education (finished my undergrad, but that's it!) and FI will be a higher up in the education field he currently works in!

10 years ago I was in 8th grade and 13 years old. I was a dancer and involved in clubs (yearbook/etc) but really didn't come out of my shell and get active with sports/clubs/dance until 9th grade/high school.

I also thought 23 seemed SUPER old!

In 10 years I will have a 9 year old and probably another one closely following (7 or 8). I hope that my husbands business will be successful and that we will be comfortable and happy. I hope that I can be a stay at home mother. I hope that I am as madly in love with my husband as I am today...and him with me :) I hope that my family is healthy and happy. I hope that we have good friends, best friends who we still see and enjoy talking to.

I was 15, I was just surviving at school with grades but a very social kid and was spending every morning at training to be a gymnast... reality hit at the end of that year that I was never going to be a professional gymnast and I then had the time to take an interest in boys. I had my first bf and we lasted I think about 7 months.

10 years from now.. have no clue what I will be doing!

10 years ago I was 13...Freshman year in H.S. Perhaps homecoming? I played tennis and danced 5 nights a week.

Right now I work full-time in Retail and part-time in a hardware store. I don't have a college degree. I don't dance anymore, I play tennis once a month at tops.

10 years from now I want my Master's in Social Work. And I want to be either in Social Work or be running a business with Mr.TKE.
