Hi! I'll be your weight loss buddy! I'm 23, have 30 lbs (minimum) to lose by my wedding on aug 11th 2012. Same as you I'm not a fad diet person, I already eat really healthy just cursed with a very slow metabolism and love fOr chocolate and ice cream haha. Ive lost 10 lbs in the last month already just from good ol excersise and limiting my sweet intake
im an 8.11.12 bride too! and if i lost 20 lbs id be so thankful! what i REALLY wanna do though is tone my arms and back. no back boobies or muffin tops from my strapless gown. fingers crossed! any tips?!
I want to jump in on this! I'm only looking to lose around 10 lbs, but I'm bad at eating out so I know it's going to be difficult.
@vreelans: yay for being date twins! I feel like its coming up so fast ahh! Im terrified of having back fat, havnt found my dress yet but I know I want strapless. My tip, weights. You will tone up so fast with weights and i love Pilates they do a great job of toning up my entire body.
I'm 25, looking to lose around 30-ish lbs. I don't weigh myself but I want to go down at least one more size before April! I've gone down a size since the beginning of summer from keeping an eye on portions and bike riding. I'm going to need some accountability this winter though, too cold to bike! I'm going to try the 30 day shred again and see how that goes.

Hello! I'm 20 years old and I'm getting married in April! My wedding is 4 1/2 months out and I'd like to lose at least 25 pounds...preferably quite a bit more!

I'd love too. I'm 25yrs old- my weedding is Mar 2013, but I have a good 35-40 lbs to lose. I just started jogging/running a week ago. I'm so proud, I couldn't run at all a week ago, and today I was able to run on the treadmill at 6.0 for 2 minutes straight. Silly I know, but it was huge! I dont believe in commercial dieting or crash dieting either. I think we'll all feel better knwing we did it on our own, with some encouragement =)
Wow I didn't expect such a return! Let's form a group and support each other since we are all so similar. We can message each other on here or exchange emails. Whatever is easier. I do yoga for toning and lift weights when I can get to the gym ( I need to get better about that).
hello ladies!!...i am so on board with this...my wedding is in september as well so i'm really feeling the pressure to not only lose but to also maintain my weight loss...i want to lose 15 pounds...i've been so lazy when it comes to working out and when it comes to eating......well let's just say my stomach always wins the fight :( lol...i'm glad i won't be alone in this weight loss journey!
I'm also on board!! I'm 25 and would ideally love to lose about 20-30lbs before my June wedding. I go through periods of intense enthusaisum with running, and inevitably fall off the wagon and can't do ANYTHING to convince myself to run. I work full time and am in graduate school so I am a pro at convincing myself I don't have time to excersie!! I also love yoga and luckily my next door neighbor is a yoga teacher, although i need to get back on board with regular yoga as well!!
Does anyone/has anyone used the C25K app on their phones? I've started (and stopped, and started again) that program and have gotten to week six before finding a distraction and letting myself go again. Once I turn in my final semester project this week, I have every intention of starting that program back up.
@akp0702: Oh gosh, I am the same way. I am either very motivated and going to the gym 5 times a week or doing nothing and sitting on the couch. I lost 30 lbs over a year ago and I would like to lost another 10-15. I also need to tone up for sure. I don't have a wedding date yet, either spring or fall of 2013, so I have time... but I want to feel better! I am 145 now and have never been below 135... let's see if I can do it, haha.
Also, I just turned 26 two weeks ago.

I'm 22, Our wedding will be 12-21-12, and I'd love to lose 30 pounds. I'm slightly over 200lbs. I've never been smaller than 170, even in high school. So I think 30 lbs is a realistic goal.
I'm in grad school right now, and I'm a substitute teacher so I have a very unpredictable schedule, and I convince myself it's okay to eat on the go, and to not work out.
Anyone want to be my buddy? Maybe through email?

I want on board!! I want to loose atleast 30 lbs. by my wedding which is 8-11-12. Im 25. Work full time, go to school part time and have 2 toddlers.. so I am crazy busy. I have tried doing this on my own.. but no motivation. Thought I did good the last few days.. broke down and went to eat chinese food with coworkers today.. and my fortune told me I needed to work on my exercise routine. True story :(

Love this post, I would love to join! I'm turning 26 this weekend and I am planning on losing weight for our wedding on November 9, 2012. I would like to lose 10 lbs, maintain it off, and get leaner. I have been working out for the past few months with my FI by doing crossfit like exercises. We have made major changes to our diet and we have decided to make it a lifestyle change. So far, it's been great and I can see some definition around my tummy area and my thighs and waist have slimmed down. I recently ordered my dress and was told I needed to a order a size 6 which was my goal (used to fit the size 8 perfectly).
Can I join in too? I'm 24, and I've already lost 30 lbs, but I want to lose about 15-20 more (I want to get down to 120-125, and I'm about 140 now). My wedding isn't for another 18 months (or less), but I want to try to lose most of the weight before we take engagement pictures in the spring! This sounds fantastic!
Hey girlies. I've been researching some new apps, and online programs.
I used to use Fat Secret on my android phone, but I recently found my fitness pal.
What's cool about this one is that you can participate in an online community from your phone.
I just joined it, and I'm hoping to count calories and lose weight. Anyone into this idea? PM me and I'll give you my username on My Fitness Pal.
I have used fitness pal in the past. you can find ANY kind of food on there. from any eating place. Its sometimes hard to judge the size of the stuff you eat.. 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup.

I mentioned it above but I have LOVED C25K...it's basically a 9-week training program that conditions you to run a 5k. You start out running intervals of 60-seconds and walking for 2 minutes (or something similar). It's really atttainable and actually gives you a regimented routine that gradually increases each week. Every week is three-runs long. It was the only thing that actually motivated and helped me increase my running stamina. Not sure if that's something you're intersted in, but it's really nice. It was so much better for me than my previous "run until you feel like you're going to die....then walk" running routine I was trying to do!
@LaviniaRose2013: Awesome, we're in almost the same boat... you're a little lighter and your wedding may be a little bit sooner, but nonetheless almost the same! yay!
I'm 24 and am getting married on 8/16/12. I want to lost 50 lbs in total, but I'd be happy with 20-30 before the wedding.
I eat fairly healthy as is, but I really need to add more exercising into my routine. Unfortunately, that's hard to do as I have 2 kids and work full time, but I'm determined to try to make it work.
I'm 25 and looking to lose 45-50pounds have no wedding date set but I know I would like to do it by your date! It is my new years resolution I plan on keeping :) I will so join the group

I am 21, 5'10'' and weigh 174 puonds. I want to lose 20 pounds before my wedding, which may take place in 2013.
I believe in sweating and no candy/soda/and other crap, and I am starting RIGHT now.
I threw out all the crap in my house, am now eating an apple, and will go work out tomorrow:)
Right, I'm in! Want to get down to my "pre-boyfriend" weight. Haven't weighed myself lately, but I would estimate that I need to lose at least 14lbs, and maybe a bit more. I am determined to be a standard UK size 6 again! Not that I'm necessarily unhappy now, but I want to be able to look in the mirror in the morning like I used to and think DAMN girl... you are SMOKIN hot!
Hi Ladies, I am 21 too and would love to join, yesterday was my Day 1 and my wedding is on 12/12/12, so am trying to tackle the fat(25-30lbs) as soon as possible n tone up in the process, so right now am focusing on cleaning my diet n next week starting some exercise!
Hello Laides! This sounds like an awesome group, and I deffinatly want in on it! Everyone has great goals, and I'm for sure going to check out the my fitness pal site! Please put me down for being in the group! I don't have internet on my phone (Sucks, but saving money and putting it towards the wedding is a better option right now!) so if a goup did get made on here, I'd love to be apart of it! I'll be 25 in March, and my wedding date is June 8, 2013 and it's my goal to lose 30-40 pounds by the wedding! So far, I've started doing this for a work out (And it's kicking my @$$!!)

Repeat 3-5 times for maximum results.
I'm not very good at the wall sit or push ups, but this will deffinatly help! :) Now to just change my diet.. :( I love food too much I think! HAHA!
