Oct. 23, 2009! It just can't come quick enough for me! Ive been engaged since Sept. 2007 and have been planning ever since! Everything is pretty much planned out ... paid for.. somewhat! 
I gotta stop watchin these bridal tv shows tho, they are making me want a wedding planner even tho i have everything done!!! 
Oh my gosh! I couldn't imagine being engaged for so long! Don't worry, October is just around the corner--congrats!
Our wedding is May 16! It's coming up fast. We've been engaged since APRIL of 2007! Thank goodness to have it over with soon!

I'm also an August 29th bride. All done with the wedding planning. Just a few things here and there to do. I'm looking forward to enjoying the summer without stressing too much about the wedding. Good luck!
I am still waiting on the actual ring, but we are planning on either August or December. Hopefully August, as neither one of us wants or needs a long engagement!

Our wedding is September 5, 2009 in my hometown of Bethlehem, PA. Although I am only 4 months away I really cannot wait! I went to my friend's wedding a week ago and it put me back into the wedding spirit.

Since the Iowa board isn't too active, I thought I would post a broad subject heading and see if anyone responded!
So, who's getting married in 2009? We're getting married in Des Moines in October. We just decided to move up the date from May 2010 to October 2009 (why not?) so we're finalizing venues and are waist deep in catching up with the rest of the October folks. :)
I'd love to hear your plans. We're both new to the state so we're going to incorporate lots of "Iowa things" for our 90% out of town guest list!
