I did this thread last year for the 2011 brides and I know it helped me alot as a wedding vendor to see new trends and ones that were still popular. So please share with myself and other vendors what colors you chose for your 2012 weddings and if there is a "theme" you are working with. By theme I mean something like beach, peacock, damask, cherry blossom, etc. Looking forward to reading your responses. Happy Holidays as well.
@wreathartist: Im getting married outdoors in July...my theme is vintage-garden.
My theme is alice in wonderland (No characters though.. just mad hatter tea party type. drink me viles.. large tea cup planets, crystal trees topsy turvy cake etc). my colors are pool and sangria
For an October 2012 Wedding. Theme is vintage, county, trees and books.

Our theme is old world glamour, and our colors are white, ivory, champagne, gold, salmon:
(this isn't my dress though)

My colors are turqouise and red :) We will be having a contempory/wine theme.
Love everything I see and hear :) Took me a moment to realize that on one of the inspiration boards there in a bride/groom cornhole set. What a clever idea for an outdoor venue.
Thanks for sharing
my colors are also turquoise and red, with some black and white as well.
July 8th- We're having an outdoor ceremony, indoor cocktail hour, and outdoor dinner. Our theme is "school" and our colors were inspired by notebook paper...AQUA and RED!
For our January 2012 wedding we are doing an old-world theme with dark purple and silver as our colors.
My colors are pink, black and white with a Cherry Blossom theme :)
Getting married December 2012. Not sure about a particular theme yet... Colors are going to be Navy Blue, Copper, and Ivory.
Midsummer Nights Dream theme... getting married in an old theater and my colors are different shades of green and brown with gold and white accents.
http://pinterest.com/neato/wedding-wishes-and-dreams/ I don't have an inspiration board anymore but I have a pinterest for my wedding where I collect all my ideas.
My colors are royal purple and silver, with a little green and various shades of purple.
I don't have a "theme" but the overall look is modern and seductive.
We're going for homespun and comfortable. The colors are a "muted peacock" (that's the best I could come up with) so jewel tones of greens, blues, and purples. I guess there will be peacock elements (a pattern we are using a lot is a bit peacock inspired), but no actual birds or feathers.
My wedding will probably look a lot like what you see on the blogs these days - not because I want to be trendy, but because it feels right for us.
I love everyone's ideas so far!
My theme is springtime elegance. Our colors our sunbeam yellow and fushia. withlots of candles and flowers!
august.11.2012
colors: rose pinks, blushes, champagnes, golds, ivories - navy accent. (currently only things navy are groomsmen suits, napkins at the reception, and ribbon on bridemaid bouquets)
theme: romance shabby chic
I'm getting married in January 2012. Our colors are purple, gray, black, ivory, silver, and gold. We're having a black-tie optional wedding with a Venetian masquerade theme. :)
june one 2012
We are having an outdoor ceremony with a romantic feel. Our reception venue is large, but we want decor to make it feel intimate. I'm going with blush pink, navy blue, and ivory for a shabby chic/vintage feel with lovebirds and birdcages. Happy planning to all other 2012 brides!
My colors are dark purple, burnt orange, then a bit of hot pink. Out Jan 7th wedding is being held at a historic home that has been beautifully restored. For flowers I am using mini calls, ranunculus, English roses, and peonies. Using milk glass vases and a few vintage pieces I have found the past few months. I am also using some peacock feathers and a ton of candles. I guess you could say it has a soft, romantic, candle lit, slightly vintage feel to it.
7-7-12
Bright vibrant lavendar, silver, black, and white.
I'm hoping for a formal whimsical romantic setting as the theme. We'll have purple uplighting in a ballroom, silver cangleabras and white rosette table runners over black table clothes with lots of candle light and elegant flowers.
Love them. This is the time of year that it gets quiet on etsy as people focus more on holidays and hold off on wedding purchases. But it is also the time of year that I actually get to be inspired by you all and look forward to the new year, new designs, new colors, new trends, new beginnings. I have actually already done a few orders for 2013 brides and one each for 2014 and 2015. I love what I do and hope it shows. Thanks for sharing.
PS. Don't you just love Pinterest? One of my photos has been repinned close to 1000 times now. I always tell people when I send them an invite DON"T LOOK AT IT THE FIRST TIME AT NIGHT, YOU WON"T GO TO SLEEP :) If anyone needs a Pinterst invite just PM me and I can send you one. I recommend every bride get a pinterest account and dream, get inspired, share, etc. I have seen a few where they have used them as a wedding registery list too. Cool idea, just put things from all over the web

One thing I noticed that no one has mentioned yet is damask. Is it finally dying out?
Fuschia and cobalt blue! This is my inspiration board, though it is more of a navy than cobalt, but I love the boldness of it!

My theme is victorian winter romance and our colours are plum and cranberry.
Getting married at a pioneer village, having a horse drawn wagon, roses, rose petals, candles, pinecones, hot drinks and a contra dance!
@ChemistryBride: I love those colors! Those were the colors I was hoping for, but my fiance said no to any pink.
My colors Red, Aqua, Grey/Silver and Ivory.

I wanted to do a pop of colour for my wedding! I'm doing fuschia/light grey.

@ChemistryBride - we are color twins! The colors for our wedding are going to be more of a navy blue though with pops of fuschia, the theme we are going for is elegant / traditional.
This is what my wedding is based on! I'm suuuuupppperrr exciteddddI have the same linens and all of the colors incorporated!
red, black and white. It's about Paris =). My wedding is on June 16th!! (sooo excited!)
Bird theme with the colors Navy and Yellow! Wedding is March 30 :)
Wedding in May, my theme is leaning towards vintage circus.
Colors: Blues, Aqua, Coral and Blush includes all shades of white
September 22:
We're doing birch, grays, and gold.

Rustic elegance. Sort of simple and pretty country. Not I repeat NOT cheesy country. And my colors for my July wedding are navy blue, light blue, and yellow.
"Cozy New England Winter" in evergreen, cream, and chocolate. There will be both silver and gold accents mixed in, but not much of either. No flowers of the petal kind, but pine boughs, pinecones, lots of mixed winter greens, possibly some white berries, low candles, rot-iron lanterns. Primary favors are maple drops, secondary are the authentic sleigh bells each guest will have to ring at our first kiss (and to make us kiss later).
We are staying as far from "rustic" as possible, keeping it elegant and formal but not overly so. The venue is an 18th-century inn, complete with fireplaces, dark hardwood floors, rot-iron chandeliers, and a converted barn.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'll have pictures to post soon since it's in a couple weeks!
