Track down RSVPs

Print the programs

Pick up dress from alterations

Confirm details with vendors

Pick up some odds and ends for the centerpieces

Get our marriage license! (Hopefully, today!)


I can’t believe we’re at the 1 month mark! It feels both like I’ve waitied forever to get this far and I can’t believe it’s so close!

Marriage license

Seating plan once I track down final #s

Finish ceremony

Finish picking music

Have final meetings with my venue, caterer, florist, cake baker

Write vows

Pick up dress (just having the bustle put in)


That’s most of it.  Other than just organizing everything and getting everything ready to go the week of. 

I’m starting to get some anxiety related to the wedding…eek.

Holy crap! 1 month!!!! OMG! Imma cry thinking about it!!!  Ok, To Do:

-Get list of ladies for my bridesmaid luncheon to Grandmother who is hosting it – doing today

-order koozies for favors

-order garter

-get tent/seating cards

-paper for seating chart

-hair and makeup trial

-make seating chart

-order silk petals

-meet with wedding coordinator

-meet with DJ

-maybe one last alterations visit

-pick out music

-write order of ceremony for church

-print programs

-get program baskets

-find outfit to leave reception in since I dont want to take my wedding dress on my honeymoon!

-Find out how much money I have left…..UGH.

Glad to see I’m not the only one trying to track down half my guest list! 

To Do:

-Confirm head count for caterer

-Make programs/table escort cards/menu & candy buffet signs

-Paint baskets to hold flip-flops

-Hair/make-up trial

-Alterations (next week)

-Finish BM gifts, figure out gifts for FGs & RB

-Buy candy and salty treats for favors

-Finalize music list and ceremony script

-Hound groomsmen to GO GET FITTED for their tux!

-Hound one BM to get her dress alterations done.  (She’s like 4’5 and we are using the extra length cut off her dress to make sashes for the FGs dresses.)

-Bachelorette party next weekend! I’m so excited! 

-Pack up apartment, we are moving the week after we get back from our honeymoon!

Whoa….1 month from right now I will have just walked down the aisle…crazy!!!!


Okay To Do….That I can remember 


1) Get FI’s father a gift for the wedding…all parents gifts are done otherwise

2) Finish DIY Table Numbers

3) Track down remaining RSVPs

4) Seating Chart ::shudder::

5) Get Bridesmaid Jewelry

6) Finish DIY Bridesmaid Photo Frames

7) Order Favors

8) Decide if I am going to order Menus/Placecards or if I am going to just use the ones from our venue

9) Finish buying groomsmen gifts

10) Get Junior Bridesmaid Gifts

11) Get Readers Gifts

12) Make Bathroom Baskets

13) Pick out more music

14) Final Fittings

15) Purchase my wedding ring (this Friday!)


We are in the home stretch ladies!!!

  2. Finalize seating chart
  3. Track down a few RSVPs
  4. Confirm timelines with photobooth, photogs, DJ, limo/car, wedding party
  5. Finish centerpieces

  7. Spend a whole bunch of money on contract balances
  8. Finish favors
  9. Figure out if we’re having programs
  10. Remember, like 1000 unrelated details that are mostly living in my head

1) Print Menu/Place cards

3) Finish gift bags (Make personalized Hangers)

4) Put dinner music togther and finish reception dance mix

  • Finish bridal shower thank you cards.

  • Finalize cake flavor, etc with Rise Above
  • Schedule hair trial and final hair appointment with Jessica
  • Confirm will all vendors (date/location/time  of arrival/expectations)
  • Wrap all gifts for BM’s/GM’s  & Parents
  • Book hotel for Olena
  • Book hotel for September 23rd NOTL
  • Escort cards + fresh lavender
  • Order rehearsal dinner food from antipastos di roma
  • Organize all items in Tupperware for easy delivery
  • Drop off Mason jars to country basket (September 7th)
  • Make wooden signs (directional)
  • Make bathroom baskets
  • Get sparkly hair comb
  • Mason jar lanterns for walkway to bathroom
  • Finalize the menu and service details with Feastivities (September 6th) verify their arrival time for set up.
  • Finalize ceremony with Gail (September 8th)
  • Paint green table white
  • Write vows
  • Call guests who have not yet RSVP’d for the wedding and rehearsal dinner to get a final head count.
  • Print all paper goods (seating chart, wedding program, bar signs, etc)
  • Wedding weekend: Pick up foliage and babys breath on September 21
  • Wedding weekend:  Pick up rentals from Era Vintage rentals
  • Select red & white wine. Have parents get special events permits and purchase

My RSVP deadline is today… there better be 20 missing reply cards waiting for me in my mailbox when I get home tonight!

  • Finish RSVP wk sheet and start seating chary
  • Finalize Programs and place order (once final guest list is confirmed)
  • Order Escort Cards and Table Number cards
  • Pray my dress arrives this week (yes… its still in the hands of the designer… (dont get me effing started)
  • order sash and veil once dress comes in
  • Work on play list for the DJ
  • Wait for Groom’s and GM’s suits to arrive…
  • Arrange Day of Transportation

EEEK! I am sooo excited! And I am so looking forward to one month from TODAY when I magically transform into a Mrs.!!!!

To Do:

-get tent/seating cards – will order after final head count around 9/5

-paper for seating chart – will get it at staples this week

-hair and makeup trial – scheduled for 9/7

-teeth whitened – scheduled for 9/10

-make seating chart – will do on 9/7-8 when visiting parents

-meet with wedding coordinator – scheduled for 9/7

-meet with DJ – scheduled for 9/11

-maybe one last alterations visit

-pick out music – most is picked out final decisions for reception music will be 9/11

-write order of ceremony for church – by monday

-print programs – will do by 9/15

-get program baskets – maybe

-find outfit to leave reception in since I dont want to take my wedding dress on my honeymoon!

That’s all I can really think of.. got our marriage license, paid off dj/photographer/venue recently also.
