It’s been a very very busy year for me, I moved from the USA to Canada and I’ve spent a lot of my time moving and getting paperwork done and traveling a ton. I’m super happy I got a lot of things I needed done right from the begining but now the day is coming so fast and I dont feel like im getting married. What am I missing? I go into my first fitting the 22nd of december hoping that what ever needs to happen in my brain happens during that time! What am I doing wrong? lol

Hopefully you are just caught up in the excitment of everything going on. I wouldn’t read any more into it than that. A country move is enough to keep you busy.
I have no logical advice here, but maybe make a list of everything else that needs to be done and be sure to do one related wedding thing a day (even small) and cross it off. Maybe then it will seem more real. Or a countdown clock.
Btw, 2/16 – lovely day.

@Lepidoptera: I felt the same way. All throughout the planning it was like I was planning for something that would never happen. It didn’t really hit me until I was physically there, actually participating in the “big day.” It’s an odd feeling but I think it’s normal. Just follow your timeline/deadlines and enjoy the day when if FINALLY comes.

@JemmaWRX: I feel like im planning someone elses wedding in a weird way! Its so BIZARRE! I tend to give more attention to others than myself so that may be where this is steming from :o/

@KLC216: I love the idea of doing 1 thing everyday for the wedding. The countdown is a great idea as well! I had a countdown for when we bought a new house to moving day! That really build up the excitement!
