Remember that "25 Random Things About Me" meme that ran rampant on Facebook last year? I was thinking we could do that again. But let's do all non-wedding-related factoids to celebrate the fact that we are not just brides-to-be, we are PEOPLE!!
Here are mine, and I can't wait to hear everyone else's!
1. I run a fashion website and am fairly shameless about pimping it. Sorry.
2. I have a beagle named Basil (rhymes with "dazzle") and I'm kind of obsessed with him.
3. I love, love, LOVE music. Some of my favorite artists are The Velvet Underground, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Radiohead, The Afghan Whigs, Oasis, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Gram Parsons, Stereolab, and Nick Drake.
4. I have recently come to terms with the fact that I am a TERRIBLE picture taker. I keep upgrading my camera and I keep taking shitty pictures. It's not the camera's fault, it's mine!
5. I own a Snuggie (I received it as a joke Christmas gift) and I love it.
6. If I could afford it, I'd eat sushi every day.
7. My little sister (it's weird saying "little sister" because she just turned 30) has lived in Europe for almost nine years. She spent 7 years in Paris and now she lives outside of Amsterdam. It's awesome to have a free place to stay!
8. My favorite movis are The Graduate, Amelie, The Shawshank Redemption, The Royal Tenenbaums, Sideways, and Harold and Maude.
9. My biggest celebrity crush is Paul Rudd. I've loved him since Clueless.
10. I'm kind of addicted to the internet, in case you couldn't tell by how often I've posted these past few days. ;)
11. I don't mind flying, but I hate airports.
12. I hate driving and getting rid of my car last year was the best decision I've ever made. I used to say that I wanted to hire a chauffeur to drive me around in my crappy old Saturn.
13. My mom and I don't always get along but I admire how she raised my sister and me. By the time she was my age, she was divorced with a teenager and an 8 year-old, supporting us with no help from our father.
14. I have an obsession with handbags. I'm extremely frugal when it comes to clothes, but will happily plunk down way too much money on a nice bag. It's my biggest weakness.
15. When I was younger, I used to be able to DRINK like a champ. Now, I can have two beers, pass out, and feel totally hungover the next day.
16. I have four tattoos. I got them between the ages of 18-20. My mother told me I'd regret them, and I told her she was crazy, but guess what? 15 years later, she was RIGHT. I don't mind tattoos as a whole, but mine are really stupid. Sigh.
17. I got a neti pot for Christmas and I'm obsessed with it. It is SO gross but SO awesome to clear all the gunk out of your nose. Love it.
18. I start every day off with a Dunkin Donuts coffee. It's my favorite. And I'm one of the few people who hates Starbucks coffee.
19. When it comes to politics, I am very, very liberal.
20. Whenever I'm feeling down, I just check out photos or videos of puppies. I can spend hours looking at puppies online.
21. I quit smoking in October, after smoking for almost 20 years(!)
22. I once briefly appeared on television, back when Isaac Mizrahi had a talk show.
23. I love everything about my job except for what I do. I love the company, the people, the office itself. I wish I could just go there and hang out!
24. I loathe all sports with the exception of baseball. I kind of love baseball, especially the Phillies.
25. I've had bangs for about 15 years. I keep trying to grown them out and then I hate how I look without them so I cut them again. I will probably have bangs for the rest of my life.
wow! Since it's friday and i don't give a damn, i'll play.

2. There aren't many things i like more than cats and kittens
3. i have an unhealthy knowledge of Simpsons trivia, though i haven't watched the show since college (those new episodes are too short, and too celebrity filled, yuck)
4. It took me 3 years to finally find a tall boot that didn't make me feel like the biggest poser in the universe. Last one I bought made me look "like a storm trooper from star wars" according to DH and it was really stupidly true. sigh!
5. I love living near the beach, but never seem to go!
6. I love aquaphor. Love love love. I try and carry a tub around with me everywhere i go!
7. I have a very nice cell phone but have only used the interwebs on it twice, and probably only use the camera and texting featureS. oh well! I save my web surfing for my glorious Mac and my work computer, haha.
8. When I grow up, i want to have my own design business.

Ladies and gents, it's about time for me to leave! Tonight is Reggae with new friends and old friends, and I must get home and get ready. maybe the other 17 can get added tomorrow :)
Here goes nothing!
1. Much like danadelphia, I look at YouTube videos of kittens as a pick me up. FI even puts them on his iPhone for me if I'm sad and we're in bed.
2. I have my own interior design company (just me). And like danadelphia, I'm not scared to pimp it out, I do have to pay for a wedding after all ;)
3. I would eat prosciutto and melon every day for the rest of my life if I could.
4. I lived in Florence, Italy for 3 months and had the required Italian boyfriend who spoke no english but looked oh so yummy!
5. I bake. I bake to procastinate. I bake when I'm bored. I bake when I'm emotional. I bake.
6. I have serious willpower issues.
7. I have 3 cats who are my children. It's scary how much I love them.
8. I hate putting away my laundry. If I could pay someone to do it I would. I don't mind DOING laundry, but putting it away is awful. Not sure why.
9. I only started cooking when I met FI. I'm pretty good for being less than 5 years in!
10. I get hives from my chin to my waist when I drink Wolf Blass wine. I discovered this the morning after drinking a bottle with FI (when we just met) and then needed to get on a plane to Italy (8 hours of flying) looking like I had some weird disease. I wore a turtleneck.
11. I think one of my favourite songs ever is Indie Rock and Roll by the Killers.
12. I have purple highlights in my hair.
13. I have 2 tattoos and I'm trying to figure out where to get my third one.
14. I'm super self conscious about the spot under my butt. What is that? Upper thigh lower cheek? I hate that spot! I only wear boy bottom bikinis because of it.
15. Over the knee socks make me giggle like a little girl. I put them on on days when I'm feeling a little down or a little wacky. I usually spend some time dancing around in them.
16. I'm the weirdest person I know and I'm okay with that.
17. 2 of my cats have songs I sing to them. Personalized to them. They love their songs. Yep. Again, strange strange girl.
18. I love taking photos. I think I'm not half bad but I don't do it enough.
19. I took a roadtrip out to Newfoundland in a 1973 Winnebago Brave with FI this past summer. It was the best time of my life!
20. I have a terrible memory at times, but will randomly shout out what I was trying to remember later in the day at a totally unrelated time.
21. I have a serious addiction to Wii Indiana Jones. I made a friend take a day off work when the second one was released so we could play all day.
22. If I read Harry Potter before bed, I dream I can do magic and I love it. Best dreams ever.
23. I wish I were 2-3" taller.
24. In high school I only had guy friends. They had a band that rehearsed in my parent's basement. Most people hated high school but I think they were some of the most fun times I've ever had!
25. I love being a grown up!
@Melissa - I am the same way with the Simpsons! I can rock trivia on anything from seasons 1-12, but beyond that, I stopped watching. They're just not funny anymore.
1. I think the camera thing applies to me too. I have been toying with the idea of buyin a new camera, however I think you snapped me out of it, because I'm pretty sure I am also a bad photographer.

Wow...I'm really bored...
1. I have the same birthday as Harry Potter, which is also the same as Jane Eyre. (Rowling borrowed A LOT from Jane Eyre)
2. I can play Expert in Guitar Hero, but I had to give it up because I was getting carpal tunnel...
3. I hate back-tracking.
4. and when people write "loose" when they mean "lose"
5. I was in the marching band in college and I LOVED it!
6. I'm really messy. Wish I wasn't, but I don't know how to fix it.
7. I'm turning 30 2 weeks before my wedding. (I think that's still NWR.)
8. I'm battling a serious chocolate addiction right now. Like eating whole snickers bars at a time! I never EVER used to do that, but I just can't stop!
9. Drinking tea and stretching make me very happy.
10. Hmm...this one is WR but it's cool and random. I have known all of my bridesmaid's for at least 25 years! Two of them were in my Kindergarten class, one is my sister, and one is the sister of one of the first 2...get it?)
Ok, that's it, I'm spent.
1. I love, love, LOVE to read and have more books at home waiting to be read that I can probably read in two years. I have a book buying, uh, "problem".
2. I detest the smell and taste of coffee.
3. I've never in my life done any sort of recreational drug.
4. My hair is long right now, but I MUCH prefer it short.
5. I don't like chocolate flavored things (i.e. cake and ice cream), but I do like "real" chocolate.
6. I have waaaayyyy too much scrapbooking stuff at my house and haven't used it in like two years. But I've spent so much $$$$ on it that I can't justify getting rid of it. 
7. I was in the US Navy for almost nine years.
8. I've had cosmetic surgery and am not ashamed of it.
9. I'm mildly obessed with my eyebrows. If they don't get waxed at least every four weeks I start to panic.
10. I love shoes. And handbags.
11. I don't really enjoy watching tv. See #1. LOL.
12. I love to run, but pretty much suck at it. My goal is to get my time down to a sub 9 min. mile, but I don't know if I'll ever get there.
13. I have 20+ pairs of black work slacks in my closet. Don't ask how many fit at present.
14. I've never tried sushi and have no desire to.
15. I hate scary/gory movies. Can't watch them, they scare me THAT much.
16. I often worry that people don't "get" my sense of humor (it's very British).
17. Even though I'm (almost) 5' 11", I wouldn't mind be a few inches taller.
18. I'm the youngest child in my family.
19. I have ugly toenails. I've had a few surgeries for ingrown nails and my two biggest toenails look pretty funny.
20. I'd rather starve that eat something with mayo on it.
21. I carry a reuseable lunch tote everyday to work (everything helps, right?).
22. I'm right handed.
23. I'm a "glass half full" person MOST of the time.
24. I hate it when people drive with their turn signal on.
25. My #1 pet peeve is tardiness.
Alright... let's see.
1. I love mint m&ms that only come out at xmas time. My mom buys me 12 bags. One to freeze for every month of the year.
2. When eating smarties (the little round candies that come in a roll....) I must eat three at a time. They are not divisible by two or four, so I must eat them in threes so no one feels left out at the end)
3. I only wear two heights of socks. They either have to be up to my knee, or ankle socks. No inbetween, no mid calf... makes me cringe thinking about it.
4. When I was little I had a scheduling crisis. Sesame Street and the Price is right were on at the same time.... I chose the Price is Right. I worked out to a fitness show first (leotard and sweat bands and all) and then watched the Price is Right during cool down ;) and I was only three :) Price is Right is still my favorite show. Totally went once, didn't get on stage :(
5. I love doing laundry. My favorite part is folding the clothes. I fold all of them, even though I take them to the closet and end up hanging 75% of them up.
6. George Strait is my favorite singer. I know useless trivia about him, and desperately wish I could afford to have him sing at my wedding. HA! Personally I think he should perform for his biggest fan for free.
7. I love cheese. I could eat it all day long.
8. I've lived within a five mile radius my entire life. Sometimes the SO and I discuss moving one day, but it scares me a little.
9. I've never been out of the United States.
10. I can't cook, and while sometimes I'm ashamed of that... I love that my SO cooks and I just do the dishes.
11. I can fall asleep in the car in a matter of minutes, even if we're just going across town.
12. I have a children's book obsession. I have an elementary education degree and accumulated lots of childrens books while in school. I am not teaching at this time but have a problem not buying children's books. Someday my kids will have an awesome library.
13. I've never done a recreational drug.
14. I've never smoked a cigarette.
15. I didn't drink alcohol until my 21st birthday.
16. I am a pessimist, I wish I wasn't and sometimes I try not to be, but my mind naturally things of the negatives first.
17. I am slightly OCD. I have a hard time paying attention when things aren't where they are supposed to be. For example if someones talking to me and the rug isn't flat on the floor... I have to fix it. (I don't lock the door multiple times or anything like that)
18. My favorite movie is Pure Country (George Strait). It was one of the few movies I saw in theaters as a kid (my parents didn't take us to the movies) and I've loved it every since. I can recite the entire thing in my head without it even being on the TV).
19. I have a phobia of being late... it raises my blood pressue. For me "if you're on time, you're late." If I show up to work on time it makes me antsy.
20. I love coats. I have way more coats, jackets, parkas, etc than anyone one person could need.
21. I love Almost and Crested Butte Colorado. I have been there every year of my life until two years ago and I miss it dearly.
22. My name is Ashley because it's the only name my parents could agree on that they didn't think sounded "bad" with my middle name.
23. I was born three weeks early, face down, butt first, with the umbilical cord around my neck. No c-section either. Mom was in labor for 36 hours and then kept warning her that I'd have brain damage. (now they'd never make her deliver vaginally) Miraculously I don't have brain damage, although certain people would beg to differ.
24. I get along with boys better than girls.
25. I'm currently hungry and can't wait for the SO to take me to a nice dinner tonight :)
@helstrong - I am totally cracking up at your scheduling crisis and the Smarties. HAHAHA!!
Thought that might get a laugh. My mom has pictures of me in the leotard and sweat band... I should find to post because it is absolutely hilarious. Hey at least Price is Right taught me math and numbers since I was missing out on Sesame Street.
My boyfriend is really mean and likes to take just one smartie out of the package and roll it back up... I then eat in threes and end up with the wrong amount!! It makes me crazy!

2. I have a Catahoula Leopard dog (mix between a great dane and a german shepherd) who's name is Luke.
3. I grew up in Southern California and lived there for 23 years until I moved to Texas in 2008.
4. I love shoes. Love, love, love them.
5. I love doing laundry, but I loathe putting it away.
6. I love grape chapstick (it's pretty much the only thing I'll wear)
7. I was almost 11 pounds when I was born. (Due to being a complete month overdue)
8. I have been blessed with scoliosis (curvature of the spine). I've contemplated having the surgery done, but can't bring myself to do it. I figured, God made me unique for a reason, plus I've lived with this for over half my life, so it's become a part of me.
9. I full-heartedly believe in God.
10. I'm a bookworm! I absolutely love to read.
11. I've done some acting in Los Angeles and loved every second of it. That's where my true passion lies. I've also done some theater here in Texas, which was also fun, but nothing compares to a movie set.
12. I'm extremely sarcastic and I love to make people laugh!
13. I'm allergic to coffee beans.
14. I do physical therapy for a living. But I still have yet to find what it is that I really want to do forever.
15. I am a HUGE chocoholic. I love, love, LOVE chocolate. Put some nuts and carmel with it and we've got a deal! Or maybe some chocolate covered pretzels or strawberries. YUM!! It doesn't matter what it is... I love chocolate!
16. I have a tattoo on the inside of my left wrist that says my Native American name in my Grandpa's tribe language. It's my little tribute to him. My next tattoo will also be in tribute to him... a bird on the side of my left ribcage.
17. I got my nose pierced in 2006 and I love it.
18. I've worked for the summer X-Games 3 years in a row, the Jeremy McGrath Invitational, and have interned for a pro-hockey team for an entire season.
19. I love pictures. And picture frames. I think I'm more partial to black and white pictures. They're just awesome.
20. I hate bugs, snakes, reptiles, sharks, eels, etc.
21. I learned how to drive a manual truck before I ever drove a standard car.
22. Macaroni and cheese is my comfort food. And it's also the thing I know how to make best ;]
23. I love coming up with new projects I can do. I love art, making things, drawing, writing, etc.
24. This is the number that will be our wedding day. I know it's not supposed to be wedding related, but we came up with 24 because we were both born on a 2, we got together on a 2, and us combining our lives together would make 4. So we have 2 for him 2 for me and 4 for us. Sappy, I know ;] But a great story, nonetheless!
25. I love to travel but can't help but be a little paranoid now since traveling home from England in 2005... there was a bomb threat sent to my seat on the plane. Talk about scary!

1. I collect umbrellas for no good reason.
2. There is a tree in my room that my dad and I made.
3. My very first memory in life is of crying over Hooked on Phonics. Now I'm working to become a published author. Change of heart, much?

5. I have four siblings. Three sisters and a little brother who is ten years younger. I like kicking his butt because he doesn't have any brothers to do it for him.
6. I will clean my grandmother's house simply so I can get free Chinese food.
7. I was born weighing ten pounds...and right on time! I've been skinny ever since. Life makes no sense.
8. I'm a music addict. I'm ashamed to say I know all the songs on the car commercials...heh.
9. Left-handed. Scissor retarded since birth. I HATED cutting projects in elementary school because the scissors were awful and I had to get other people to finish my projects for me.
10. During high school, I was in concert band, pep band, marching band, chorus, concert choir, vocal ensemble, women's group, and orchestra; at church I'm co-director of the choir and bell choir. I attended a music camp every summer for years; I've recorded in a professional music studio. Remember what I said about being music obsessed? Yeah. If I weren't so shy and into writing, it would have been a Music degree for me.
11. I daydream about winning the lottery pretty much every day.
12. My family goes to South Carolina every year for 2-3 weeks of laziness. I LOVE the ocean.
13. Politics drive me up the wall. I think Ron Paul is the schiznit.
14. My birthmark is right below my left butt cheek and looks loosely like a bruise star. I don't like it all that much.
15. I have no problems hanging out with people significantly older or younger than me, but I have problems getting along with people the same age (excepting my friends).
16. My great-grandfather bought the Tollhouse Cookie recipe off some old lady and also invented the Crunch bar. BE THANKFUL.
17. I figured out what I was going to do with my life when I was about 11. It never involved getting married or having babies. Now I have my SO and my life is so much better for it.

19. "Christ is counting on me, and I on Christ." FWC.
20. I grew up not watching TV. Still don't. I'd rather be outside.
21. However, I love myself a good movie.
22. Chocolate is my lifeblood. And sweet potatoes.
23. Two major goals in life: Get many books published. Build an awesome house with a library, fireplaces, and hidden passageways.
24. Not quite as major goals: Own a fancy camera to take awesome pictures with. Live by the ocean. Own a boat and sail all over creation.
25. I couldn't STAND ballet classes when I was young because of the way my older sister, who has always been into dance, bossed me around and told me what I was doing wrong. My SO and I now salsa, and are thinking about picking up swing, because "that's a dance for white people like us." Good times.
1. I, too, have a beagle who is my baby girl. She has such a personality and is the very definition of unconditional love.
2. DH and I want kids someday but we're 100% fulfilled being dog-parents right now.
3. I love BBC America.
4. My MIL and I are in a facebook stand-off. She won't friend me and I won't friend her. We're friends but it's become a 'thing' now. lol.
5. I still log onto weddingbee every day, 2+ years after I first found it at 9 months after my wedding. At least the nesting boards give me an excuse now! I also like to refer new members to old bees' weddings they may like!
6. I wish I were a better blogger. I've started and stopped 4 (?) blogs over the years. I'm really trying with my new home-owner blog!
7. I have a recent obsession with laughing cow cheese (garlic and herb flavor) and a long-standing love-affair with feta.
8. My favorite restaurants are Aladdin's (a mid-west chain) and Sweet Basil (a Pittsburgh Thai/Filipino place).
9. My family plays polo. My Grandfather, dad, brother, sister, and uncles have all played.
10. I grew up on a horsefarm (see above) but haven't ridden since I was 8. (if you fall off, get back on!!)
11. I have a semi-unusual maiden name and a very unusual married name. People always giggle at it. Oh well... lol
12. I've donated my hair to Locks of Love twice and am long enough to do it again soon. I think I'm going with the Pantene program this time.
13. I've been with my DH since I was 16. We've grown up and grown better together.
14. 25 is a lot of things!

1) I am a ballet teacher. For little kids from 2 yrs old, to high schoolers. I love it.
2) I am a nerd. My FH constantly goes *nerd alert*
3) I love getting mail, it doesn't matter what it is. I just love opening the mailbox and seeing stuff in there.
4) I am obsessed with cookies.

6) I've taken five semesters of wine tasting classes. yum
7) I am pursuing my master's degree in English. I love books.

19) I've watched all five seasons of LOST in the last three weeks in preparation for the Season six premiere.
20) I've been to Kenya, I loved it... it changed my life.

8. I thought Audiology would be a good day job so I could do comedy in my "spare time" of which I have none.

Okay. I think I might be kind of boring compared to some of you, but here we go:
1. I'm a twin (some of you know, some of you don't.) She was my only sibling for 18 years. Now I have a 2 year old brother, and a 5 month old sister through my Dad.
2. I got my first fur baby on accident. My sister found him in a dumpster, got the janitor at work to get him out, and brought him home to me. This cat was nice then, and now he's a jerk. But I love him anyway.
3. When I was 12 I was obsessed with writing Anime fan fiction. lol.
4. I have my alarm set for Every Thursday and Saturday night at 8. That way I don't Miss the Vampire Diaries, or Legend of The seeker. Wendsdays will be added to that list come April for Glee. = )
5. I hate the color orange because my step dad used to take me to Home Depot every friday during the summer.
6. I almost cried at my Second Starbucks interview. The ASM wouldn't look at me and was really distant. I thought I wasn't going to get the job, and I was getting desperate. I held myself together long enough to get out the door.
7. I was a Varsity Cheerleader for at least 2 sports all 4 years of High School.
8. I was in Pep Band, Choir, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. I play flute, and sometimes bass guitar. My junior and senior year of HS I denied knowing how to play bass because I thought the band teacher(s) was an idiot. No one ever told them the truth.
9. I didn't start college because of a falling out with my parents. We made up, but now I don't know if I really wanted to go, or if it's because the High school in my small town made me think I wanted to.
10. I have to have everything done way in advance. This includes Apartment hunting, packing to move, and anything else big that I might end up having an issue/delay with.
11. my FIL's used to hate me. They told FI I wasn't worth dating (LD) and that I was a slut. Now we're so close, I talk to FMIL more than my Mom.
12. If sleeping were an oplympic sport, I would take Gold.
13. I love to do my laundry, but it can sit in the clean basket for weeks because I either don't have enough space to put it away, or I just don't feel like it.
14. I love to bake. My Usual is Chocolate Chip Cookies, but I like to try new recipes all the time!

1. I love Aerosmith and think know I will somehow meet Steven Tyler one day. I've probably dreamt of meeting him about once a month for the last 10 years plus.
2. I have a cat named Steve (yes, named after you-know-who from #1) who licks the windows in our house everyday and might be insane.
3. I am in my second year of vet school and am so excited for my career!
4. I lived on the small Caribbean island Dominica for a year. Would go back in a heartbeat if I could.
5. My all-time favorite snack is avocado with lemon juice and salt- yum!!
6. My parents divorced when I was 7, and remarried when I was 15. It sounds funny to say that they just celebrated their 10 year anniversary last year!
7. I have a tattoo of 2 stars and it doesn't have a real "story" behind it. Gasp! I just like stars and it reminds me of the sky in the summer.
8. I have a fear of sponges. Dirty kitchen sponges full of bacteria. Eeek. Who wouldn't be afraid?
9. I stepped on a sea urchin in the Caribbean Sea and it was the worst. I had a swollen foot for 2 months and now I curse out those things whenever I see them. Even if it is a decorative one at Pottery Barn.
10. Semmmmi-wedding related: my FI is a medical student and I constantly tell him how much harder it is for vets, who must learn more than one species. Hehe. But really I don't think I could ever be a human doctor. Humans are ickier than animals sometimes.
11. My favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber, and I quote it on a very regular basis. "Our pets HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!!"... hehehe.
12. I have a hard time understanding why some people won't spay or neuter their pets.
13. I guess I am a smaller person naturally and always have been. Sometimes people tell me I "need to eat more" and it makes me want to punch them. But again, I am small and my punches wouldn't do much harm. I eat plenty!
14. I love my Detroit sports teams, even the Lions.
15. Music is my favorite thing and I think arranging movie soundtracks would be a really cool job.
16. When I was little I stole my dad's watch 2 weeks before Christmas and then gave it back to him as a present. I thought I was so smart.
17. When I was 15 I borrowed my dad's car without permission and when I returned home I crashed it into my mom's car. Oops! No driver's license for me for a while past my 16th birthday.

22. I want to learn the harmonica. Mostly so FI (who plays guitar) and I can do a cover of Neil Young's "Heart of Gold". I have no idea when or where we would actually perform this song, but it is my dream nonetheless.
23. I'd be fine if I never ate dessert again, but crave salty treats on a daily basis... olives, pickles, pure iodized table salt. Sometimes I get in trouble from the boy for drinking the pickle juice before the pickles are gone.

1. Mac and Cheese is my all time favorite food. I can tell you every place with it on the menu within a 60 mile radius of my town. And the boxed kind doesn't count.
2. I have a a wierd, excessive, abnormal fear of sinks full of dishwater. I refuse to stick my hand in it to pull the plug for fear of the cold, nasty, mushy food filled water. Oh and I'm also convinced Ill slice my hand off on a knife that's hiding in that nasty cesspool.
3. When I was a sophmore in high school I ended up with 6 stitches in my left ankle after tripping over a kitchen sink while mowing my back yard. Really. My dad was remodeling our house and put the old sink in the backyard. He didn't bother to tell me he moved it half way through me mowing and I took a ste back to turn the mower and fell. My mom initally wanted to super glue it.
4. I have a LOT of clothes. When I was student teaching I literally never wore the same shirt twice. It became a joke between all of us. I think my large wardrobe is the result of me hating laundry.
5. I hate feet.
6. I'm a reality tv junkie. I love the Real Housewives, Bachelor, Teen Mom/Sixteen and Pregnant, Tough Love. It's my outlet after a stressful day.
7. I didn't drink alcohol until my 21st birthday. I've never smoked or done any type of drugs.
8. My first job was as a bank teller and I was paranoid of getting robbed.
9. My first Christmas with FI I made puppy chow and other goodies to take to his parents. The problem? I used flour instead of powdered sugar but didn't realize this until after giving them the goodies and getting back home and trying some for myself.
10. I am cold everywhere I go. I always have a sweater/jacket with me even in the middle of the summer.
11. I refuse to wear a blue shirt with blue jeans. It just bugs me.
12. I was in 4-H as a kid but never touched any type of livestock. I was considered a city kid int he 4-H world. My projects included: leadership, reading, citizenship, public speaking, etc.

14. I hate ketchup. Hate it. The first time I ever tried it was as a 20 year old when FI and I had first started dating and he talked me into trying it. Nasty.

10. I am a little OCD about food. I hate for my food to touch, and believe that you should prevent this from happening at all costs. Thanksgiving is a job for me! I love each food that I put on my plate, and don’t want it to be overshadowed by whatever’s next to it…each food has its place! This also translates to peanut butter and jelly…can we say texture issue?????
11. Scary movies actually terrify me because I believe this is where sick deviant kids/adults get the ideas that they plan out in their basements before they murder people. Ask Mr. CW….I started hyperventilating during a movie that even I wouldn’t classify as “horror” and he had to press pause to give me a break.
12. I believe that true love, romance, and chivalry can and do exist in today's society. It takes the right person, the right attitude, and the commitment to going the extra mile. I do my part to keep them alive and I expect the same in return. I decided quite awhile ago that I won't settle for anything less.
13. I love bright colors, and have recently become slightly obsessed with jewel tones. It’s amazing how they brighten my mood.
14. I hope probably more than I should that I will find a way to stop worrying about every little thing in life. It takes so much energy, and usually helps nothing at all.

(He passed away when I was 10 and the night he passed, I stared at the moon for hours trying to go to sleep, so I think that’s where that came from). I believe he’s in heaven, of course, but maybe he travels to the moon? LOL! All I know is that whenever there is a full moon, I instantly feel at peace and catch myself smiling.
21. I find that this part of my life is very interesting now that my little sister and brother are older. I always wondered what we’d all be like when we got older, and how our personalities would change. It’s crazy to observe, but they’re great people so far!
22. I don’t want to wish away the present, but I am really excited about the time in my life when my siblings and I have each gotten married, and when kids start coming into the picture. I can’t wait to meet my future in-laws and nieces and nephews! How cool and crazy will the holidays get again!??!?!

1. I took voice lessons for 5 years and was really good. I sang at weddings and funerals, and I was in choirs that released CDs. When I moved to this school, I fell away from it, but I really, reallllllllllly want to get back into it. It makes me happy. It is pure emotion to sing.
2. I went to Italy when I was 15. I loved it. I want to go back. I want to travel in general, but I can't yet afford to.
3. I am more competetive than I'd like to think. I blame growing up with a twin.
4. I have been described as having a chip on my shoulder, but I have consciouslly worked on becoming a more optimistic person. I think it is working.
5. Sort of related to that, my father died when I was 6 and my mother has Multiple Sclerosis and some depression. I am not close with my family. I wish it were different, but it messes with my mind and well-being too much.

7. My two best friends besides FI are guys. My girlfriends all moved away after school and are not great at keeping in touch. Some of it is my fault, too, but somehow, these guys moved away and we kept in touch, so I don't know.
8. Like many Bees before me, I have some OCD tendencies like always needing to straighten things out, put things away, and keep numbers even.
9. I really love the color pink, but I love all colors, too.
10. I am really lucky that (for the most part) FI's family is wonderful. They're like the family I didn't get. I love them (even when we don't always agree).
11. I never thought in a gazillion years that I would be marrying a farmer, and yet, here we are. I never really thought about people farming other than commercially in the midwest. I was so wrong! I have canned vegetables that we grew, I have made my own butter from the cream we got after milking the cow. I have baled hay. It's a lot of work, and I don't want to farm as much as his parents do, but it is sort of amazing.
12. I am a nerdy nerd. I love blogs and message boards, and I have talked about school too much on these boards already.
13. I love food. I cook and bake recreationally. But then I eat it. Doesn't help the diet, eh.

15. I am a horrible sleeper. I have been a terrible insomniac in the past, but even now, I don't fall asleep easily or stay asleep. I am always tired or sore.

19. I can turn both of my feet around backwards and walk like that. It's my stupid human party trick. (My feet turn out at a 45-degree angle if I stand with them together. Doctors wanted to break my knee-caps and realign my legs, but since it doesn't affect me, we let it go. I just have a really hard time standing with my feet together because my knees hit each other almost knock-kneed, and I can't hardly walk a straight line.)
20. I don't really have favorites like a movie or book or food. I can't decide.
21. One of my biggest dreams is to build a house of our own and live there forever. I can't wait.

23. Growing up, I changed what I wanted to be all the time -- chef, paleontologist, animator for Disney, Broadway star (stifled by my inability to dance), veterinarian, lawyer, FBI profiler, etc. Perhaps this is why I still wonder if I am doing the right thing!
24. I can be very neurotic. I am also extremely punctual. I have a strict sense of the "right" way for me to do things, but I am pretty live and let live about other people.
25. I love children's movies. Ice Age and Up are two of my favorites. I also enjoy Wall-E, and we watch Elf and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated) multiple times a year. They are just so funny and cute and not overly dramatic or violent. Good times.
mlbiaso -- FBI profiling! I have all these books on violent crime and their manuals. I don't know why I never truly pursued it.
@Amaryllis: #22...me too! I'm a very detail oriented person and remember random details. I'm also REALLY good at remembering numbers. I think this comes from my time at the bank. I haven't worked there for over a year but I still remember the account numbers of some of my regular customers. Don't worry..I don't repeat them. Oh and I have random phone numbers memorized. FI often doesn't believe me so I make him call just to prove I'm right.
eeh -- Yeah, I don't think it's FI's favorite trait about me because often it will be something like "Oh, don't you remember when we talked about this 7 months ago; you said...." And he'll be like, "oh." hehe We were out with his brother and sister last weekend, and the topic of family names and birthdays came up. He had them all backwards, and I explained whose was which. He admits that he doesn't care much for details unless it's something really relevant to his immediate life.

1. I cant make a decision on my own
2. I will ask about 3 different peoples views on something before I can figure out what I really want
3. I have a shoe obsession-there is no price limit on shoes
4. I used to have SUPER! bleach blond hair back in the day and still had my dark eyebrows
5. I have to watch Gilmore Girls every weekday at 5 and feel empty if I miss it (even though I have the seriers on DVD)
6. I can not go to the bathroom in a public place. Actually-if I am at a house for a first time, I still can not go. I will have to visit your house about 4-5 times before I will consider going in your bathroom (for number 1 only..don't get me started on number 2)
7. There are certain every day words that I do not like and refuse to say (ie ring, slacks, jewelry, handsome, coin) they all make cringe and I freak out. I will stop your story and tell you to use a different word. Most of my friends know this and try to remember, but if my BF wants to piss me off he will use them all in the same sentance and I go running into the other room so I dont have to deal with him!

10. I can not take a compliment
11. I buy lots of things to make a scrapbook, but never sit down and put it together
12. I look horrible in pictures and try never to be in them
13. I hate the way that I write the letter "W"-it totally looks like a 3 year wrote it, but all other letters are fine
14. I feel like I bother people when I fill out these silly suveys (but I love doing them!) and alwasy afraid that they will secretly hate me for tagging them or posting them or whatever the newest lingo you want to call it
15. I hate most food
16. I DESPISE feet
17. I can't style my own hair
18. My left hand is totally useless to me unless I am typing
19. Every night I go to sleep picturing myself on a beach in Hawaii
20. I like to collect pens and will never use them
21. I can't parallel park or back up straight into a parking space
22. I still wear a sweatshirt from 8th grade
23. I need the TV on to study
24. I suck at playing video games unless its on an Atari 2600 then i will kick your ass at frogger and kaboom
25. If I could, I would have french toast every day
