That dress is so pretty, unique and gorgeous! I have never heard of 2B but im looking it upp right now. You look gorgeous in that dress!!! Love the bottom of it!! CUTE!
This is my dress on the website. http://2bebride.com/dresses/?collection=All%202be%20-%20Bridal#i2996
I am not a 2b bride but it is a Gorgeous dress!
I'm a 2B bride too! I was totally set on being a Maggie Bride, but when I tried on the 2B...<swoon> it was it.
I was hopelessly in love.
Unfortunately the pic I took of me in it is just ridiculously blurry. So I'm going back with my Mom in a few weeks to show her so I'll snap new ones then.
I was a 2Be birde! My dress is pictured nowhere on the internet though. Literally, nowhere! Haha. I think the quality is really good for the price. My dress was only $500.
YAY! There are 3 of us in the hive. 2be is such an exclusive designer that sometimes you wonder if you are the only one.
@Pennydreadful: I was also set on Maggie dresses but once I found my dress I knew I had found the one.
@Grey56: Wow that is great. Doesn't it feel a little special to know that your dress is not plastered all over the internet and a million brides are not wearing that same gown. My gown was $1000 but I was able to buy from the Spring 2010 line before it was even out yet since I saw mine at a trunk show.
I want pics of my fellow 2be brides in their dresses.
I have searched obsessively for pics of my gown, but no luck.
One of the other bridal consultants was squeeing with me. She said my dress was her favorite one in the shop.
As soon as I get pictures I'll post them. But it is so unique and perfect!
There is not a sequin, bead or scrap of lace to be found on it.
It's silk, strapless, the bodice has gorgeous pleating, then it's got corset boning beneath that (which gives me the most divine hourglass shape). The back has three gorgeous pleats across the top with a chapel length train.
I'm not doing it justice in description, but my MOH got tears in her eyes and told me "That dress is perfect"
After much exhaustive (and eyeball burning) online searching I have FINALLY found a picture of my dress..
Granted it's only half of the front and a view from the back, but I dont care, it's enough I can gaze at it with joy.
I had begun to think maybe it was too plain since it doesnt have a scrap of lace beading or embroidery on it. But once I laid my eyeballs on it again in the pic I remembered how much I love it. (not dress regret! just wondering if I needed to jazz it up a bit)
And I love, love, love the back skirt how it's got pleats that make it full and gorgeous.
I squee.
I have a 2be dress too! I came across this thread when trying to find online pics of someone else in the same dress. So far, I have not found anyone wearing my dress. It's not with me and I have no idea which line or season it is from. It is ivory lace with a little bit of silver beading in the lace and has champagne pleating at the natural waist. I also love the inside corset thing that really gives me a complete hour glass and keeps the dress in place. Has anyone seen photos of a bride in this dress?
I'm a 2be bride also from elizabeth darcy line
I just bought my dress this weekend at a sample sale for $561!!
I didn't know what style it was until i found it on the website

I just picked up this strapless silk 2be gown over the weekend for my destination wedding. I love the simplicity of it. (and was out to avoid any bedazzling or lace! ) Any issues with getting it altered? I'm planning to have it altered to remove the train and hope that it lays well.. I also wish it had a lace-up back instead of buttons for a more snug fit. After altering the top, are you happy with the fit?
I love the Elizabeth Darcy line too. Beautiful dresses! Currently, I a fan of E233940.

Did you get the same dress as me? Really? because that would be really cool :-)
I havent had it altered yet (my seamstress told me to wait until closer to the wedding to ensure a "perfect fit") But from what she told me the dress is made VERY WELL, and there shouldnt be any issues altering it up or down.
I was going to alter mine to remove the train as well, but my seamstress did a quick mock up of a french bustle, and it looks stunning with the pleats in the back.
I love my dress. The silk feels so amazingly rich, and I've yet to see another bride with anything even similar.. The ONLY snag I ran into was that it is "natural" colored silk. So Ivory is too yellow and white is too white for a veil.
I've since decided I dont really want a veil anyway so that problem was solved.
2Be Bride here as well!!
here is mine: http://2bebride.com/item/?i=233780&collection=2be%20-%20Bridal%20-%20Isabella%20Chessari

That's mine-I added a belt though, and it looks totally different on me in real life.
I am a 2BE BRIDE!!!! yay I was also in love love with Maggie dresses, but after I tried this one on, nothing compared!
Does anyone have 2be style # 233780? I might be getting the dress but I think the dress looks way nicer in person?
@Jenny8283...I tried on that dress that you have pictured when I was at Kleinfeld's! It was gorgeous!
Does anyone know the wait for a 2BE dress to come in? I feel like all the salespeople who use "it takes time to order" as a scare tactic to purchase the dress on the spot.
I am a 2be bride, too! Totally fell in love, but I had never heard of the designer before and was a little skeptical but loved it SO much that I bought it right off the rack. It is real satin... gorgeous beading... love!
@jenny8283 I bought that dress!!!! My wedding is in May, 2011 and I can't wait to wear it. It is so much more beautiful in person than in the pics. Absolutely stunning!!!!
@jenny8283: I ordered my dress in March and it came in in July. So about 5 months or so. Quite awhile!
omaigosh!
I have been trying to find ANYone who has even HEARD of 2be dresses...Mostly I just get Salons saying "Oh...thats Mon Cheri dresses"
No no...it's really not a Mon Cheri dress...
Every Salon I've been to has told me that while they admire the dress I've chosen, no they don't have it in stock and while they would be happy to order it, no there aren't any refunds.
*Sad panda*
OMG! dress twin!!!!! :) here is me in it:) isn't it beautiful, unique, love it:)

I am a 2Be Bride also. I actually might end up getting another dress though.

I have recently ordered my 2be dress about a month ago. As I have been looking at this site I feel like the only 2be bride out there. Any one else? I would love to see your dress. Here is mine from the Elizabeth Darcy line. I am in love with this dress.
