Hello fellow bee’s!! This is my first of hopefully many post. I joined this site as soon as I seen all the DIY project here I love it! I will be getting hitched 9/7/13 I know I have a little less then a year to go but I feel like I am already a behind on my planning. 🙂 I was wondering if any of my fellow bee’s have a good timeline/schedule of events that they are using. I am trying to stay as organized as possible, and get everything done in a timely matter. Any help would be GREAT!!! Talk to you all soon!

The Knot has some, and there are a bunch on Pinterest. You can probably just google “wedding timeline” and find something. Basically if you’re a year out you should get a venue so you can have a date set, then look into wedding coordinator/photographer/officiant/florist and go from there! Depending on where you live, things may or may not book up a year out but I don’t think it’s too early to start.

I kind of made my own based off of a few I found at places like the knot and weddingwire. Some of it also depends on what is important to you, in my opinion. If you know you want a specific vendor, book them early!
If you haven’t done anything yet, the first thing I would do is come up with a guest count, a tentative budget, and then start looking for ceremony and/or reception venues! Book that first and then I’d probably do the photographer after that.
