Went to my 2nd dress fitting and the chest area was too big still. It’ll be another extra cost to take it in and I just want to take my dress home already. Driving 4 hours to my apt’s is just too much.
How does it look in the chest area to y’all? Too big? Can I get away with just leaving it?
My veil is ivory and dress is white. I bought my veil to go with my first dress that was ivory but oh well. Does it look terrible?

A) GORGEOUS DRESS!
B) I don’t notice the chest being to big, so I think you can get away without that alteration.
C) I also can’t tell much of a colour difference with the veil and dress, so I also think that is fine… Besides, you will only be wearing the veil for a the ceremony and some pictures, so not a long time at all.

You look great! That dress is quite stunning.
I don’t think it looks too big in the chest area, and I woud never have noticed the difference in color between your veil and dress.

Gorgeous dress – everything looks perfect!! I looked at the pictures before I read what you wrote, and I definitely didn’t notice anything. Even after I read your comments, I still didn’t notice the bust being too big on you, so I think you could get away with not altering that part. I also looove cathedral length lace veils – I’m wearing one too actually :).

@lightmist: a little uncomfortable. I don’t feel supported because it isn’t very fitted.
thank you all SO much. I feel better already asking you bees. :):):)

@raisedonrobbery: Utterly gorgeous 🙂 how unsupported are you feeling? Would it be worth just one more 4 hour drive for the perfect fit? In the photos it looks perfect but there’s nothing worse than feeling a bit…jiggly, if you know what I mean!

Fit is EVERYTHING in terms of how you feel so it’s probably worth getting the chest how you like it. That said, keep in mind that support comes from the waist of the dress and they intentionally keep chest areas not too tight to keep from creating underarm fat. However if your alterations person agrees that it still needs work in the chest, I’d just buckle down and get it done.
