So yesterday I went for a 2nd fitting. She change dthe back from a zipper with faux buttons to a corset, adjusted it to fit me better, hemmed, and we started figuing out the bustle. Since I don’t like how an american bustle looks with this dress we figured out how to do a french bustle… Problem? Well, the first row luckily only has 7 points. The bottom row? 28 points!!! Seriously!!! This train is going to cost be around $300 just to bustle it!!! But, we played with it for an hour to figure out another option. But, because of the length of the train and the shape, that is pretty much our only option unless I want it all tacked to my butt or strung up on my wrist.
We added a fuller crinnoline which I think helps with the shape of the skirt. I don’t think I look as small as I did in it when we bought it though…
Anyway, the first two are before pictures and the last billion are what we took yesterday. (Please ignore the pins. It isn’t fully sewn yet!)
What do you guys think?
And what we have now…
And this is how much it will have to be trailing on the ground. It is unavoidable because of, again, the length.
That is probably more pictures than anybody really needed but, oh well! I love my dress and wish I could show it off in real life! In these pictures you can see more of the sparkle which I kinda like… Okay, I am done now. lol

The train on your dress is GORGEOUS!!! Its so long and beautiful. I love the way it bustles. It kinda makes the dress look like another dress in the back which is so cool!

@Mrs.MedinaJr: I never thought about it that way, but you are right. I really do love that bustle.

I do really like the bustle but agree with you on looking smaller in the first pictures. Perhaps the corset can be tighter just under the breast area??
Also, you might consider a thicker ribbon to lace with…my dress came with two different thicknesses…this is it with the thicker ribbon; ignore my bra strap at the top =)

@eyegirl: I really like the think lace! But she is just using ribbon… is that lace different? Because that is exactly the look I want.
