@trugem: HAHA yes my wedding is christmas themed!
Thanks Ladies!
YAY! I love them! What is the next pair going to look like? You need to post a YouTube video!
OMG!!! Wow!!!
I just finished the first shoe on my bling shoes. I need to post about mine. I've been debating on doing a second pair too, but I know I'm going to wait.
Great job!!!
How cute would candy-cane-striped bling shoes look for a christmas wedding?
I love love love yours!
I just blinged my shoes too! lol
Saw it on an episode of "four weddings" and said I have to have!
What rhinestones did you use? Where did you purchase?
I think I want a second pair for the rehersal dinner lol
Attached a pic of my shoes and bouquet.

I'm just dying to try this out, If only I could find the perfect pair of teal or aqua shoes to try on.
@MandaMack: I think the crystals were about $100 -$150 (we used coupons). I found the shoes at DSW for $50 (a steal for a pair of Martinez Valero). So around $150-200. Shoes like this retail for at least $1000.
I think @truegem's strategy is best! I got swarovskis at rhinestoneshop.com and they are pricey - but since I couldn't find the shoes I wanted and have saved up a decent shoe budget, I went with the swarovskis. But since this is such an addictive craft, the Michael's with coupons route is definitely the way to go (IMO)
@trugem: Love your shoes! That is the style I wanted but couldn't find one with a low enough heel (didn't want to be taller then my FI).
Yeah, I was hoping for a more cost effective alternative for my second pair.
I used Swarovski for my first pair, but those are my wedding shoes so I reasoned the additional cost like that.
I got my rhinestones at rhinestonebiz.com, from what I can tell they have very reasonable prices for Swarovski, but it is still pricey.
Can't see paying that much again for my rehearsal dinner shoes even though I really want to! lol
Going to have to check out Michaels!
I got the stones from ebay for my 2nd pair. I should have ordered them all at once and saved some $ but the stones will cost about $35
I have to say the quality of the stones are not as good when you look up close some have chips and stuff but when you look at them on you can not tell at all!
I spent well over $100 on stones the same kind @trugem: used on my first pair and I have to say i dont think they spakle any less just when you are putting them on you notice the chips in a few.
Wow you guys have a lot of patience! I applaud you! I'd never be able to do that!
