Why don’t you try putting it on eBay or Oncewed and see if it sells? It’s free to list on both of those sites (eBay now gives 25 free listings per month.) You have plenty of time to see if it sells, so you could take it as a sign that you should keep looking if you find someone who would buy it for only a slight discount so you could retain most of the money you sunk into it in the first place.

I think it’s a gorgeous dress, but I also think the style you are describing sounds very pretty, too. I understand you having second thoughts now that your wedding is so far out. I actually did the same thing; I bought a strapless, more formal gown and ended up with a halter, beachy dress once we changed our venue.

Good luck!

Love the dress.  It’s perfect for your fall wedding.

Honestly, I would stop looking @ dresses and focus on other aspects of your wedding.  You still need to find jewelry, shoes, etc.  Since you do have time, if you have $$$ in the budget, I would look @ purchasing a reception dress.  Or better yet, save the $$$ for your honeymoon.
