$500 is more than enough to buy a new dress. You should totally do that!! : (3 votes)

I LOVE the skirt idea! Update the look of your dress, and turn it into a real sweetheart neckline. : (42 votes)

Dear crazy, self-indulgent lady: the dress you have is lovely. You do not need a new one. : (12 votes)

The skirt idea is great! It will really change the look of it whilst keeping the overall style of the dress. I would also just style your hair differently to the first wedding (if you had it up, have it down for this one) and wear a different necklace/ accessories.

Love the skirt idea. Maybe just buy a tulle skirt off Etsy. Or, just add some cute white swiss dot tights and bold colored shoes.

My friend had 2 weddings for the same reason, and she wore the same dress. People did see it on facebook, but there were very little overlap in guests at each wedding (just their parents and her sister), so for most people at the second wedding it was their first time seeing it in real life. Wedding dresses are expensive, so everyone thought it was awesome that she would actually get to wear hers twice. She did her hair very differently each time, so each wedding looked like a new look even though it was the same dress.

I love the tulle skirt idea. I don’t care for it being “open” like it is in the photos but I think that’d be a really easy way to dramatically change the look.

I think your dress is beautiful but if you wanted a change I think a soft tulle skirt of sorts would work great!

You could even see if Jasmines/esty ect could make one for you at a reasonable rate….

I personally love horse hair tulle so their is a Tara Keely replica one that I would go for! Or even if you look on the Watters website they have a couple wedding skirts that are currently in blush but they come in ivory. Now I think they are more expensive but might give you some ideas of the possibilities!

Please post what you decided and the final production! I would LOVE to see it!

I really like the idea of adding a tulle skirt! You can probably find one on etsy! I’m not a big fan of the look in dress 1 though, it looks kinda like a towel or a cape.

I love the skirt idea! However, I’d keep the neckline as is…it’s stunning!

I adore the skirt idea! I wouldn’t alter your dress–it’s stunning! You can definitely find a tulle skirt on etsy for around $150 or so. Then I would wear your hair down. Completely different look that will def come in under budget. Good luck.

The second skirt look is awesome! I would not do a sweetheart neckline.
