I say go for it, if they're all equally important to him then he shouldn't have to choose. You can have fun with the intro, too, like "and the best man, chrisjohnadam!"
I say do whatever makes both of you happy. I had a Matron and a Maid of Honor but my husband only had 1 Best Man and the DJ annouced them as Maid of Honor X escorted by Groomsman X and Matron of Honor X escorted by Best Man X. I'm sure your DJ/whoever has dealt with that scenario before and can work something out for you :) Having too many close friends that you want to share your day with is a good problem to have :)
My FI and I are having 3 people stand on either side of us but we have decided that we are just referring to all of them as bridesmaids and grooms attendents ( he has his best friend who is a girl standing up with him). I have a 17 year old, a friend who lives in china and my sister-in-law. If I had given one the title it would have been my friend in China, but she and I both said that it is not fair because she wont be here till a few days before the wedding so she feels she cant do the things that that title has. She even questioned being in the wedding party.
So my answer-do what you want, do what makes you happy!!!
I have 2 MOH and FI only has 1 best man. The sides are a bit uneven (1 man short) but push come to shove the best man will escort both MOH. Im also having the ushers serve as GM too. We are focused on having no more than 50 ppl there, so we are using the people who are already coming to do more than one job if necessary.
My FI is having three best men too! He has two brothers and his best friend is like a brother so he couldn't decide. I think it's a little crazy but he hasn't asked for much in the wedding and he really wanted to do this so I'm letting it go. I say, it's your day--do whatever makes you two happy!

Dumb question, but can you do that? My Fi has 3 bestfriends. One hes known since kindergarten, the 2nd in Highschool and the 3rd at his current job. He says he doesn't want to choose one he wants all 3 as Bestmen and 3 groomsmen. I have 5 bridesmaids and a MOH so its equal, but does 3 Bestmen sound like too much? and how would i introduce them at the reception?
