Three weeks from today I will be walking down the aisle! It’s such a crazy thought that it’s just right around the corner for me!! I’ve been planning this and working my butt off for it for 14 months now and it’s so close! I thought that I’d be so nervous and freaking out at this point but now that I’m trying to think of the final touches; I don’t care as much as I did 14 months ago. I’ve become more laid back about it all. I’m starting to think that the things that need to be there will be, and I’ve decided if I forget something, it probably wasn’t too important. My grand center pieces have been downgraded from the original idea of 14 months prior. All of the decor has been simplified as compared to what I thought I wanted. I think no matter I’m going to leave the day more happy than I’ve ever been… even if a little detail was missing
Have any other bees… relaxed… a little as the day is getting/got closer?
Any other January brides??

I’m not a January bride, but I just wanted to bump your thread and say *SQUEAL*! 😀 How exciting! Happy Three weeks to wedding day! 😀

Ha, I am the opposite. I have been totally chill for months and just now I’m starting to freak out. Last night, my Fiance finally cracked. He said something like, “Calm down! You’re really taking this stuff to extremes!” (I was freaking out because the Justice of the Peace we booked said he was going to register with the tribe to perform our ceremony and he still hasn’t registered!) Fiance is of the opinion that it doesn’t really matter because there is plenty of time. PLENTY OF TIME??? REALLY???

Pretty relaxed right now. I bet that changes after New Years. Lately I have been loving all the emails between my bridesmaids that don’t all know eachother as they discuss shoe and accessories options. Now to hope one of my pregnant bridesmaids can make true trip! We are so close now!

I feel the same. I freaked at first, but I calmed way down recently as it gets closer. I think the 18 months of planning really helped.
