So the girls and I were at Urban Outfitters this weekend and we found these flasks for $4.98 each. We loved the size and the price so we got them. However, everyone had wanted personalized flasks.
The covering is basically like a thick contact paper that could be removed.
I have no preconceived notions about how to personalize these. I’ve thought of a cloth covering or a different contact paper that is decorated with their initials.
So I open it up to you guys… Come up with the best suggestion for how to re-make our flasks, and I will be forever grateful!
See picture of said flasks below. Ours are not pink and black, but red with little hearts on them.
I’m looking forward to your brilliant ideas!

Hmmm. . . . maybe you could buy sticker letters and just stick them on. And then to make it a little more durable you could put lamanating paper or clear contact paper over the whole thing to seal it from the elements

Couldn’t you have the bottom engraved?

Ooh MS, good idea! I was trying to figure out if I could get a different contact paper that was more us or sew something, but I have a feeling that whatever I try to do, it’s not going to look that great.

I like the engraving idea. I feel like contact paper could get messy and sloppy (it’s really hard to get it not to wrinkle when wrapping such an unusual size). If you want, you could maybe put a band of red or white contact paper (like 2" thick) around the middle and have their name nicely calligraphered on it. They would still all be red with hearts but also obviously personalized.

Fizics-It’s kind of a get what you pay for situation… The paper that is already stuck on there is somewhat peeling up… so it’s got to go. I too am concerned about the stickiness of it all, so I was thinking about cleaning the goo off with a solvent.
Maybe I should have just bitten the bullet and spent more for metal ones not covered in contact paper. Yikes!
