So thank heavens our Pastor is AMAZING….as he reminded us last night that we needed to bring in our ceremony music to the church to either be practiced by the church piano player OR have the CD tested a few times with their eqiupment….cue the complete and udder loss of my calm demeanor when we got home and had no idea what we wanted for anything….
We are having a small bidal party 2 on each side one flower girl and ring bearer….
we had originally wanted (when we were going to extend the BP to 4 each) though of doing:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgaTQ5-XfMM -A thousand Years Piano guys version….but at over 4 minutes long….idk how well that would flow with a smaller bridal party…I had thought about me starting my walk down around 3:19….and then having them let the piece play for a few seconds after we reach the alter….and just having the bridal party and FG RB and my dad and I walk into the same song…but again….I almost feel that the song could be too long for that…its just soo beautiful….
I am like 90% sure that we are thinking of having:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF-Z1A0ujlg –which is the Piano guys version of the song “Home” for our recessional and to keep playing as people exit the church….
I think we are going to skip the song during the lighting of the unity candle….our pastor suggested one….but I do believe we are skipping that….
ugh I am at aloss here bees….I also dont know what song we are entering the reception too…sigh….
What did you guys use….any helpful suggestions??

- Wedding: October 2014 - Church
For the ceremony we are doing as follows (Catholic Church so needs to be religious or classical):
While guests are waiting – Prelude by Bach
Bridal entrance (including party) – Lord of All Hopefulness
Signing – Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing
Recessional – Days of Elijah
Our friend is a pro pianist and is doing all our music.
We are doing “Dreams” by the Cranberries for our reception entrance song.

are you wanting the church piano player to play? If so, they could easily cut the music you want shorter. That’s the benefit of having a live musician.
If you are wanting to play on a CD though, maybe you could edit it yourself using free software? like Audacity. Then you can shorten it yourself to a better length.

My bridal party and I all walked to a VSQ song.
Signing of the register was John Legend – All of Me (wedding was in May, song was new, I loved it – this song has turned out to be the one we have the most emotional attachment to)
Recessional – Beautiful Day – U2
(we had an Art Gallery wedding – we could do whatever we wanted!)

Soonerbee07: our ceremony was in a church (Catholic) but we didn’t use any religious songs, we hired a cellist and guitarist to play the music, all instrumental, and here is what we had
Bridal Party Processional – Across the Universe – THe Beatles
Bridal Processional – Can’t Help Falling in Love – Elvis Presley
Recessional (the entire wedding party) – Yellow – Coldplay
