First off, Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm 27 so i'm kncocking on 30s door. I'm like you i don't feel like almost-30. Geeze i feel like i'm 22!! (maturity, financial wise ha!)
Besides, 30 is young in the grand scheme of things... its about how you feel and carry yourself, not numbers and "age boxes". Embrace it and look at it as a new decade and new exciting adventures to come!!!

My friend just turned 30 and toward the end of her party she had a meltdown in the bathroom, it got ugly. But the chocolate cake helped a bit.
Anywaaaay, I'm 27 and I do have anxiety! Not so much about turning 30, but I honestly don't feel like I've accomplished everything I wanted to by this age. My only solice is that there is nothing actually stopping me from still doing these things, I just have to do them! Its going to be difficult but I'm working on it.
@JustlikeHeaven- i completely agree, 30 is like 20.
I look to Jen Aniston concerning all things age.. shes 41!! shes looks amazing, has no kids yet and proves that age is just a #!

30 will be what you make of it. If you're psyched to no longer be a 20-something, and you start looking for all the ways you're better off now, you'll probably find that you love being 30.

Happy 30th!! I turned 30 this summer, the first few days threw me off, and now I like it. I feel like 30 sounds more established and mature (which I am not saying I am). But rock it. You've got an awesome year ahead of you.

I also just turned 30! I had someone guy tell me today at work that I don't look a day over 23. haha! Embrass it and remember how much wiser you are now, imagine if we had gotten married 5-10 year ago, yikes!
I turn 30 the after our wedding...I'm actually looking forward to it, but am sure I will have a meltdown in July...I think it helps that I'll be married though!

I was a bit sad when I turned 30, but after a few days I got over it. Now that I'm 32 and married, I don't even think about it anymore. There are more important things to worry about now.
I turned 30 in September, and it was pretty cool. I had just had the best year of my life, and it was kind of wonderful to turn 30. I feel pretty good about not being a 20-something anymore.
I just turned 30 in August - so I've been in this new decade for a little over 6 months now - and of course there's jokes about getting old, etc...but I don't feel it at all. In fact - maybe because I don't have any kids and a lot of my 30 something friends do - I still feel SOOOO much younger than all of them. I have a lot of friends in their 30's and only 2 or 3 still in their 20's and feel so much closer to the ones in their 20's. :p
I turned 30 last month. I was a little freaked out about it before hand, but afterwards, nowI just don't care. I'm the same person, have the same friends, etc. Plus, FI turned 40 last summer, so I always feel young at home!
I'll be 30 on May 23...making me 30 and 1/2 on the wedding date! The wedding is also going to be one of my BM's 30th, so we are going to do a cake and song for her. I've been dreading this upcoming birthday since turning 29. However, I threw my FI the greatest 30th surprise party back in October, and he proposed the next day. It still makes me laugh to think that he matured in one night! Maybe it won't be too bad, I will be getting married, after all! Anyway, nice to see so many 1979/80 ladies!! =]

So I turned 30 yesterday and first I was having major anxiety but it's not so bad ;-). I don't feel 30, I don't look 30 and my life ir right on track with the exception of normal minor hiccups. Is any one else in the same boat? How do you feel?
