I was 31 when we started trying and Hubby was 33. We started trying in September and got pregnant in November, which was super fast. I thought we were going to have problems and Hubby was super confident we wouldn't. Well, he was right. It can take a couple that have no none fertility problems up to a year to conceive.
We started when I was 29 and it took a year, gave birth at 30. My cousin took 4 months, she's 31.
I was 33 when my husband (He was 31) and I started TTC. I had been on birth control for 20 years, so I was completely expecting it to take awhile. I was very excited and surprised to find out I was pregnant on our 3rd month of trying.
It took 2 months to conceive. I was 33 when we conceived, and will almost be 34 when he is born in May.
I'm 33, hubby is 29. We got pregnant on our first try.
@Mrs. Bonnie Blue: Same thing here. I told my husband not to get his hopes up because it might take a few months and he said, "Babe, my boys are Mark Spitz! It's gonna happen on the first try." He was right.
We got pregnant on our first try and then we had a MC. 8 months later we conceived again!!!! I was 30 both times getting pregnant, but have since turned 31.
Was 33 with Baby #1. Took just the one month. 34 with Baby #2 (will be 35 at delivery). Took 2 months. And I had been on birth control pills most of the time since around 18.
I am 32 and we got pregnant on our first try - I can't even say the first month because we gave it one shot on the day after ovulation thinking there was no way it could happen from just that one time. Sure enough, that one time was one time lucky for us. DH could not be prouder of his 'boys'.
I always say be emotionally prepared for it to take up to a year but be ready for it to happen the first time because you just never know!
ETA: This was planned, we just hadn't expected it to happen so quickly! We had read so many things about people having difficulty that we assumed it would take at least 6 months or so... or not.
I'm almost 30 (my b'day is in May 2012), my DH is almost 32 and it took us 2 months of NTNT and ten months of active TTC.
It took us 3 months. I got my BFP just a couple of weeks after my 30th birthday.
I conceived at 33 on the first try. Delivered at 34 with no problems.
We started trying when I was 30 (DH 29) - I got pregnant on cycle 3, but miscarried. Waited a cycle to start trying again and then got pregnant on cycle 3 again - when I was 31 (and this time it stuck!)
Im 31, it took us one try! Literally, not once cycle, but one try!
I was 30 when we started trying, and I got my BFP after the second cycle of TTC.
I was 30, a few months shy of turning 31, and it happened on the first try. Much sooner than we thought!
29 when we started trying, and it took us 8 months to get pregnant the first time...then miscarried. Finally, after a year and a half from our first month, I'm pregnant again and hoping this is our sticky baby! I'm 31 now...
This is encouraging...I will be married 3 days before my 29th bday. I have a friend who was 31 when TTC and it took 2 cycles. I have another friend who was 34 when she got pregnant and I think it took her 5 or 6 months to conceive.
I was 30 when we started trying, 31 now. DH is 33. We conceived on our first cycle and were completely shocked that it happened so fast!
We got pregnant first try and miscarried. Took another 3 months and miscarried. Then at 7 months we got pregnant again and I'm now 21 weeks pregnant. So 11 months to our sticky baby.
Average American couple takes 8 months to conceive.
I think you're question is a little scewed with answers because there are plenty of woman on here who are over 30 who have been trying for a very long time that just haven't gotten pregnant yet. You're only getting all of the success stories.
I was 33 when we started TTC and it took us 11 months. I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and expecting LO to arrive early July. I'll be 35 in September.
I'm 33 and it took us less than a month to get pregnant, we actually weren't TTC when I found out I was pregnant.
I was 33 when we stopped using birth control on our honeymoon. Seriously, it was the first time in our 10 year relationship that there was nothing to stop pregnancy. When we returned I found out I was pregnant, went to the doc when I thought I was eight weeks, and confirmed that I basically got pregnant the very first night I did it without birth control.LOL.
I'm 31 and had been on BC for 12 years. It took 1 cycle. I was shocked it happened so quickly!
I'm 32, hubs is 31 we got pregnant on the day we decide not to use BC anymore. Literally the first try. So odd, I really thought it would take a bit longer than that.
I got pregnant on the first try (DH thinks he's a total stud), but it looks like I will likely miscarry. I'm hoping we don't have to wait too long to start trying again and hope for a sticky baby soon. We're 33.
I was a couple weeks shy of 31. I came of BC in Sept, but we sort of avoided sex during ovulation until November. Did BD twice during fertile days in Nov and got pregnant! Shocked it was so easy! I have seen so many friends and siblings struggle with it so I aSsumed it would take longer
5 cycles, both times. I have a long cycle though so it did seem like forever. I was only on BC for 2 years.
I think* (you can blame this on age or pregnancy brain) I was 31 the first time and 33 this time. I'll be 34 when s/he is born. I think :)
I'm 35, DH is 38. Got pregnant on the 9th cycle, though first 2 cycles were wonky because I just came off of BC.
I'm 30 and we conceived on the first try. I've never taken BCP though and my cycle was always very regular. I had asked my doctor when I should start worrying about fertility issues and she said as long as I was regular, not to worry about it.

I am 29 now, turning 30 next July, and DH and I are thinking about when we would like to start TTC. We have trips we want to do this year and we also want to fix our house up.
How long did it take other 30 yr old + bees to concieve?
